Research On The Current Situation Of Social Morality Education In Colleges And Universities

Social moral education is one of the core contents of civic moral education in colleges and universities.It aims to cultivate the public moral consciousness of young college students and enhance their sense of social responsibility.The educators of the social moral education in colleges and universities,the educational objects,the educational carriers,the educational contents and methods,and the elements of the educational environment interact with each other and work together in the social moral education of colleges and universities.This paper takes China University of Petroleum(East China)as a typical case,and combines the common experience of social morality education in colleges and universities in China to analyze the construction achievements and development dilemmas of its educators and educational objects,educational carriers,educational content and methods,and educational environment.And try to clarify the targeted strategy of optimizing public moral education in colleges and universities.At present,the social moral education in colleges and universities in China is constantly developing.As far as the "first class" is concerned,"Ideological and Moral Cultivation and Legal Basis" has become the major course,and the elective courses are gradually enriched;the "second class" continues to follow the community activities to improve the practical courses.The active participation of college students' social morality education;the "third class" uses the network new media platform to explore network resources as social morality learning content.At the same time,China's public moral education is also facing many development difficulties.As far as the main body of education is concerned,some college teachers of moral education have a weak sense of self-defense;as far as the object of education is concerned,college students have insufficient self-awareness and serious problems of knowing and doing things.As far as educational carriers are concerned,community activities are important for social moral education in colleges and universities.Activity carrier,but there are also situations where interest is more important than public welfare.The compilation of relevant teaching materials is constantly optimized,but there is still a shortage of special teaching materials;in terms of the educational environment,the school still lacks a good atmosphere to guide.Social moral education in colleges and universities needs schools to pay attention to,create a good atmosphere of campus public morality,improve the evaluation,supervision,reward and punishment mechanism;also need teachers to improve the role model of the role of demonstration,in the education process to comprehensive use of educational carriers and methods.Improving the public morality consciousness and public spirit of college students requires a combination of theoretical education and practical education,a combination of education and self-education,and explicit education and recessive education.
