Research On The Split Factors Of Internet Public Opinion Field From The Perspective Of Cultural Capital And Social Capital

Since entering the Internet era in the 1990 s,especially with the popularity of social mobile network platform in the new century,the information barrier in the traditional media era has been broken,and the public can easily express their views,opinions and attitudes towards social public events in the cyberspace.In the current transformation period of deepening social reform,the attention,expression and participation of domestic netizens in public issues have a profound impact on the order of social life,and thus form a noisy and complex network public opinion field.In this virtual social space,the two main actors,represented by the government and the people,start to fight for the discourse power and influence,and the split phenomenon of the network public opinion field occurs from time to time.Therefore,the operation and evolution of the network public opinion field has become one of the important topics in the academic circle.At present,the academic research on this topic has accumulated rich results from theoretical basis to case analysis.On this basis,this study introduces qualitative comparative analysis method,taking 32 national hot topics of Internet public opinion as cases,combining qualitative and quantitative analysis methods,through multiple dialogues between theory and cases,and from the field capital perspective of Bourdieu,investigates the official and the The influence of cultural capital and social capital owned and transferred by the two main actors represented by the folk on the operation of the field is analyzed.The index data shows that cultural capital and social capital have an important impact on the split of Internet public opinion field,and the latter has a higher coverage.From the perspective of the medium impact path,at the level of cultural capital,the configuration with the highest coverage is that no matter whether the public has a stereotype of an event or not,when netizens have strong dissatisfaction and spread this emotion in a multimodal way,and accompanied by ritual resistance to the event,it is easy to cause the split of the Internet public opinion field;the second configuration is when the public has a stereotype of an event and adopts With multimodal communication,the event is focused and narrated,and the field will be split when ritual resistance is triggered.At the level of social capital,no matter where the incident happened or whether the government has effectively interacted with the media horizontally or vertically,as long as the public opinion response has not won the trust of netizens,the participation of opinion leaders will lead to the division of the network public opinion field;at the same time,even if the incident does not happen in a big city,when netizens do not trust the public opinion disposal,there are opinion leaders who voice and lead the public opinion In this case,the incident will also arouse strong concern and tear apart public opinion.From the perspective of micro influencing factors,"ritual resistance" in the action strategy of "stereotype" in collective memory,as well as "public opinion response effect" corresponding to trust,"opinion leader" corresponding to public participation "and" incident place "corresponding to network scale" are the key core factors that cause the split of network public opinion field,such as "multimodal communication","focused narrative" and "social emotion" ”The conditional variables of "media interaction" and "parties' network position" only play an auxiliary role in the division of network public opinion field in some social situations,but the "Butterfly Effect" and the superposition effect of various conditions in the network need to be vigilant.The data configuration and analysis also show that some of the results are consistent with the existing theory,while others are abnormal.Generally speaking,the evolutionary operation of the field is the sawing and integration of different fields.As the cultural capital and social capital hidden behind the actors,it plays an important role in the operation of the network public opinion field and is an important force to promote the evolution of the network public opinion field.
