As the "College Entrance Examination" relates to the future of tens of millions of students,it has always been the focus of attention from all section of the society.It's also the key point that a number of scholars and experts research on.There are still many deficiencies in the College Entrance Examination system and the Test-setting system,which needs to be improved continuously to maintain the vitality of education.Not simply do the Chinese Mainland and Taiwan have the cultural background in common,but they both have the same goal of reforming the education system.In order to learn from each other,complement one another,this paper compares Chinese mainland with Taiwan,whose educational background is similar to the mainland,choosing the test questions of chemistry in the college entrance examination on both sides of the region nearly three years as the research object,pointing out the defect between Chinese mainland and Taiwan area,providing suggestions for teaching.Firstly,the paper simply describes college entrance examination system between Chinese mainland and Taiwan,making a brief introduction of overview of examination papers,comprehending the similarities and differences between their systems and test questions.Then,this paper summarizes the References of test-setting system,which include the Curriculum Standards,the examination outline,so that the author has a theoretical understanding of test-seeing requirements.Finally,it pays attention to their papers.The author makes a comparison of the format of question types,the scoring standard etc.In Chinese mainland,there are one-choice questions and non-multiple-choice questions.However,the multiple question types in Taiwan include one-choice questions,multiple-choices questions,combination of multiple choice and non-multiple-choice form,and non-multiple-choice questions etc.Both sides have their own characteristics in their code of points.Based on Bao Jian Sheng chemistry items difficult quantification model which is put forword by Xue Liang,it is an important part for this paper to compare the absolute difficulty of the chemistry test of the college entrance examination in recent three years.By analysing the difficulty level of the test questions in general and the distribution of the similarities and differences of sub-difficulty,it concludes that there us a here is a scientific and reasonable transition from easiness to difficulty of the examination in China's mainland,while the test difficulty in Taiwan display a wavy line and it is changeable.The scope of examination is limited,but the knowledge is probed in depth in China's mainland,and vice versa in Taiwan.This paper points out the deficiencies existing on Taiwan and the mainland's mainland:the number of test questions is less than that in Taiwan;the scores of choosing questions are too high and the take1 of tests system is defective and so on.However,Taiwan also has some problems,such as a number of choosing questions,opening level within limits,and complicated writing materials.At the same time,the author also learns the advantages of the test questions in Taiwan and gets some inspiration for the test questions in China's mainland: increasing the number of test questions,using the life situation as the test materials,and integrating the knowledge of other subjects.The paper offers some suggestions about teaching,such as consolidating students' basic knowledge,cultivating students' independent learning abilities,paying attention to training the humanities,and consciously improving students' social responsibility.
