In the context of curriculum reform based on core literacy, great changes have taken place in ordinary high school mathematics education. The question that how to recognize and master the teaching of mathematics from the perspective of the new curriculum standard has become a must for teachers.Currently, the main problem in teaching is still fragmented teaching. The key to preventing fragmentation is promoting a holistic view of teaching. The whole-to-part,top-down teaching concept advocated by the elaboration theory is consistent with the idea of the new curriculum standards. Therefore, this paper combines the elaboration theory with the unit instructional design, constructed a unit instructional design based on the elaboration theory. The content of derivatives and their applications are highly abstract, and the types of questions are flexible, which brings difficulties to students' deep understanding and problem solving.Taking this unit as an example to improve the instructional design can inspire students 'understanding of the derivative unit, and thus develop students' core mathematical literacy. This research adopts the literature research method to sort out the existing research results of the elaboration theory, unit instructional design and high school derivative teaching, and further analyzes the guiding significance of the elaboration theory for unit instructional design. This article also uses questionnaires and interviews to investigate and analyze the status of derivative unit teaching. The results show that the current derivative teaching emphasizes the application of knowledge, and simplifies the exploration of the core concepts and principles of the unit. The students 'learning of the knowledge is shallow. The teachers' understanding of the unit instructional design is inaccurate. They are accustomed to start teaching based on experience, and lack of exploratory spirit to update teaching methods.Combining the above studies, this paper constructs a unit teaching design pattern based on exquisite theory, and take the derivative as an example for the unit instructional design, and elaborate the unit instructional design method based on the elaboration theory:(1)At the macro level,we must grasp the unit content as a whole and construct a unit knowledge system.Determine the core content of the unit through analysis of teaching elements and combing of the unit knowledge system.(2)Formulate lesson plans, teaching objectives, and teaching evaluations around the core content of the unit.Orientation of teaching objectives should achieve two-way promotion between high and low-level objectives.Build "high" with "lows",lead "lows" with "high",and achieve unity of objectives, teaching and evaluation.(3)The Instructional design should focus on core and overall planning;progressive refinement and spiral up;synthesize regularly and summary timely.Attention should be paid to the construction of thinking dilemmas in new lectures, and students' interest should be stimulated with high-quality teaching design. The new courses should pay attention to the construction of thinking dilemmas, and stimulate students' interest with high-quality instructional design;attach importance to logical connections and extend the acquisition process and consolidate the students' knowledge framework;design the main line of classroom teaching, lead the mathematics classroom with valuable questions.Exercise courses should choose basic questions;sort from simple to complex;sophisticated analysis and makes difficulties easy;attach importance to problem-solving review and clarify generality.Micro-classes should pay attention to the value of topic selection, the exquisite content and the simplicity of production.
