In June 2020,the Ministry of Education issued the "Ideological and Political Curriculum Standards for General High Schools(2017 Edition 2020 Revised)",which proposed that the core competencies of senior high school ideological and political courses are political identity,scientific spirit,awareness of the rule of law,and public participation."Scientific spirit",as one of the core literacies of ideological and political disciplines in senior high school,is the basic condition for the implementation of the other three disciplines.It is required to always take the all-round development of students as the guiding goal,to cultivate the scientific and spiritual literacy of high school students as the main task,and to improve the scientific and spiritual literacy of high school students as an important result.However,some deficiencies are exposed in the current theoretical design and teaching practice activities,such as the teaching objectives do not specifically show the importance of cultivating students' scientific spirit,the lack of awareness of the status of students as the main body of scientific spirit cultivation in the teaching process,and the lack of teaching content.The integration of the scientific spirit is not enough,the teaching methods cannot effectively improve the scientific spirit,and the lack of a reasonable evaluation system.These problems not only adversely affect the effectiveness of high school students' scientific spirit cultivation,but also form certain obstacles to the comprehensive development of high school students' academic core literacy.Based on this,this article investigates the current situation of cultivating the scientific spirit of high school ideological and political students from the dual perspectives of high school ideological and political teachers and high school students through questionnaires,interviews and classroom observations.Through the analysis of questionnaire data,the current situation of scientific spiritual literacy and cultivation of high school students is clarified,and the existing deficiencies and difficulties faced are further explored.Through the analysis and explanation of the causes of these problems in many aspects and in-depth,it is proposed that the main reasons are the lack of scientific spiritual literacy of teachers,the limited cognitive level of students,the lack of efforts to cultivate scientific spiritual literacy,and the inability of traditional teaching models to adapt to new development.Further we put forward effective measures to improve the cultivation of students' scientific spirit.From the perspectives of teachers and students,and from the aspects of teachers,students,and teaching process,practical strategies that meet the needs of cultivating students' scientific spirit are made.
