Research On The Performance Structure Characteristics Of Chinese And Foreign Outstanding Men's Decathlon Athletes

The research object of this paper is the top eight men decathlon athletes in 2013,2015,2017 and 2019 world track and Field Championships(hereinafter referred to as the world championships),and the top eight achievements of the 11 th,12th and 13 th National Games of the People's Republic of China(hereinafter referred to as the national games).The world track and Field Championships are international athletics events hosted by the International Federation of fields.Since 1983,it has been changed from one year to two years in 1991.The number of participants is increasing and the project is more and more complete.It is a cutting-edge level that can represent the world track and field.Ashton Eaton,the former Male Decathlon protector,has created a record in this competition.The national sports meeting is the highest level and the largest comprehensive sports meeting in China,which represents the highest level of track and field in China.This paper uses the methods of literature,comparative analysis and mathematical statistics to find out the differences between the performance structure of World Championships athletes and the athletes of the National Games.This will provide direct guidance for the improvement of the performance among Chinese athletes and the key direction of training,enrich the research on the performance structure of Chinese men decathlon,and improve the scientific training level.The results showed that:1.The structural characteristics of Male Decathlon performance are comprehensive,unbalanced and systematic.The comprehensiveness mainly shows in the comprehensive technical ability,physical quality and physical function.The imbalance is different in the individual competition ability of athletes.Compared with the level of first-class athletes,shot put,discus and javelin have 1500 meters of events The gap is large,the level is low,and the level ability of speed single item is higher.Systematically speaking,Decathlon is a whole of ten independent and interrelated projects.2.There are some differences between the world championships and the athletes of the National Games.The relationship between the 100 meter events and other events of the world championships is obviously better than that of the athletes of the whole games.The world championships athletes run the 100 meter speed quality through the whole body,while the athletes of the world games run through a part,which shows the items with the speed quality as the main factor In the eyes,the world championships athletes' performance is significantly better than the athletes of the National Games.Although the relevance strength of the throwing events of World Championships athletes is slightly lower than that of the athletes of the National Games,the overall relevance of World Championships athletes is higher than that of the athletes of the whole games.3.The scoring items of both competitions are 100 meters as the main speed force,and the scoring sequence is hurdles,long jump and 100 m as the first three items.However,the relationship between scoring items is significantly better than that of the athletes of the world championships.The relationship between throwing and endurance events is stronger than that of World Championships.This is related to sports performance.The scores of both are related to sports performance The weaker items are throwing and endurance.It is suggested that the development focus and main direction of the decathlon in China should be on the improvement of strength quality,followed by the improvement of speed quality,and the final development focus should be on the direction of combining speed and strength.Pay attention to scientific training mode in the process of athletes' development.
