With the development of the times,social culture has become more and more diversified.Gender culture,as a kind of social culture,naturally affects the current gender concepts of adolescent students.The current feminization of masculinity has seriously affected the construction of gender consciousness of adolescent middle school students,which is not conducive to their future healthy development.Through questionnaires and interviews,this paper finds that the lack of male role models in the family and insufficient gender education in school education are important causes of this problem.Paying attention to students' gender education and cultivating their awareness of gender identity are the missions of educators.Middle school students are in the special stage of adolescence,a critical period for promoting the establishment of gender identity.The special nature of students' psychology at this stage requires teachers to give more respect and care to students.The language subject is a basic subject,full of humanistic care.The humanistic nature of language subjects requires that the images of men in textbooks should provide content that students can learn in order to develop a correct and healthy gender perception.By sorting out the male images in the textbooks,this paper clarifies the gender values embedded in the textbooks and helps front-line workers in language education make good use of the images in the existing language textbooks to help students come to complete the identification and construction of their own gender roles and promote the harmonious progress of society.
