"A gentleman carries things with virtue" emphasizes the importance of morality.The report of the 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China put forward that the fundamental task of education should be to educate people by virtue,and the 19 th National Congress put forward that priority should be given to the development of education and the implementation of the fundamental task of educating people by virtue.This shows that the Party attaches great importance to "moral education" in China's education.Courses with ideological-political elements is a new type of educational concept which is produced to implement the fundamental task of cultivating people by virtue,and it is a kind of imperceptible education,it will educate people for the party and the country.The first step of curriculum ideological-political education is to excavate and refine the ideological-political elements in the discipline.Chemistry,as a discipline with both science and humanity,contains abundant ideological-political elements resources.The main purpose of this paper is to explore the ideological-political elements in senior high school chemistry teaching and to show examples of the integration of ideological-political elements in compulsory chemistry textbooks,so as to provide reference for senior high school chemistry teachers to carry out curriculum ideological-political education through chemistry discipline and realize moral education.Firstly,this paper clarifies the research status,core concepts and theoretical basis of this paper by consulting relevant literature.Then,the questionnaire survey and interview survey method are used to understand the current situation of the integration of ideological-political elements in high school chemistry teaching from the perspectives of students and teachers,so as to provide targeted strategic suggestions on how to better realize the education of chemistry.According to the actual needs of students and teachers' suggestions,the ideological-political elements in senior high school chemistry teaching are divided into four dimensions: scientific literacy,political identity,social morality and personal literacy,and each dimension includes specific ideological-political objectives and their extensions.This paper shows that chemistry is a good carrier for courses with ideological-political elements,which is helpful for chemistry teachers to systematically infiltrate students into ideological-political education,and finally realize moral education.
