With the continuous development of digital technology,the forms of news reports continue to increase,and the presentation of news has gradually shifted from simple words to visualized images,H5,short videos and other forms.In order to meet the reading habits of current audiences and meet the needs of fragmentation,traditional mainstream media constantly try to create new news products.In this context,news posters with strong visual impact,intuitive and eye-catching,fast production speed and easy to move and spread emerged at the historic moment.News posters have been used in the coverage of major news events such as the long-running COVID-19 outbreak and the forest fire in Liangshan,Sichuan province.News poster combines the characteristics of the news and posters,inherent in the sudden disasters because of its sudden and urgency,and news features corresponds to the poster,so more and more mainstream media in reporting sudden disaster event,will choose using news poster in the form of information dissemination and public opinion guidance.Undoubtedly,news posters have become a necessary choice for mainstream media to report sudden disaster events.On July 20,2021,a heavy rainstorm hit the central and northern parts of Henan province,including Zhengzhou,Xinxiang and Kaifeng,which seriously threatened and damaged the lives and property of people in the affected areas of Henan province.In the process of reporting this disaster event,news posters played a huge role in both delivering rainstorm information and guiding public opinion.In addition,the relevant knowledge of disaster protection and self-rescue was popularised,which gained a good communication effect.Based on the research value and representativeness of the research object,this paper selected the news posters published by major mainstream media on Sina Weibo during the 7.20 rainstorm event from July 20,2021 to July 31,2021 as the research object,and collected the samples of the news posters related to 7.20 rainstorm event released by the mainstream media.Analyze the characteristics and types of news posters.It is believed that the news poster has the unique artistic and aesthetic value that other posters do not have,as well as the interactivity displayed by the mobile poster in the digital era.At the same time,according to the research samples,they are divided into four categories: traditional graphic posters,pure text posters,two-dimensional code interactive posters and data news posters,which lays a foundation for analyzing the image narrative research of news posters.Then through the text analysis method to collect 292 mainstream media news posters image narrative research,from the narrative subject,narrative content,narrative rhetoric analysis of news posters image narrative.The narrative subject is divided into the mainstream media as the narrator and the narrative characters in the poster;The narrative content is divided into rainstorm information,rainstorm hedge knowledge popularization and rainstorm rescue positive report.Narrative rhetoric is according to the continuation of text rhetoric in image rhetoric,there are rhetorical devices such as metaphor,contrast,exaggeration,borrowing,parallelism to show the charm of image narrative.Finally,based on the study of image narrative,a conclusion is drawn.It is pointed out that there are some problems in the dissemination of news posters,such as lack of quality of posters,poor interactive experience and single topic of posters.Aiming at these deficiencies,this paper puts forward optimization strategies for the future development of mainstream media news posters,such as innovating the narrative content of news posters,enriching the narrative form of news posters,and balancing the reporting attributes of posters.
