Spherical solder powder used in electronics surface mount technology,which is a new type of electronic welding materials(for short SMT).Solder paste is compounded by 85 to 92%of spherical solder powder and flux from a certain percentage,applied to high-density assembly technology,its role is to make the solder supply and usage of automatic control,both to ensure the stability of the solder components,but also to prevent the contamination of the circuit board assembly to meet the high density requirements of the development of micro-bonding techniques.Currently,spherical solder powder has been partially replaced the amount of solder and solder wire traditionally used,which has become one of the most important deep-processed products currently tin,and it is also a high-tech,high value-added new solder.The paper conducted experimental study on spherical solder powder was prepared by a rotating disk centrifugal atomization method.Experimental studies conducted the key technology of spherical solder powder prepared,including atomization motor,atomizer wheel material.And carried out the experimental study of factors affecting the quality of atomized powder and particle size distribution,which the main factors considered the key factors affecting the quality of the spherical solder powder and productivity,including atomizer speed,atomizer wheel shape,atomizer wheel diameter,metal flow feed rate,atomizing atmosphere.Optimized process parameters and technical conditions suited the 3rd,the 4th spherical solder powder atomization,and carried out the orthogonal experiment and the experimental verification.Experimental results show that these two sets of parameters for the spherical solder powder atomization can be the 3rd and the 4th flour powder productivity were increased to reach 61.9%and 54.7%.Experimental study on process optimization by conducting rotating disk centrifugal atomization prepared spherical solder powder technology,and promote the implementation of the industrialization of spherical powder solder.On the basis of this study,Preparation of spherical solder powder technology by a rotating disk centrifugal atomization spherical solder powder declared and completed 1000 t/a of tin-based solder powder used in high-density spherical assembly technology(SMT)package,which industrialization of key technologies and equipment development project in Yunnan Key Industry Innovation Project,and construction and implementation of a 1000 t/a spherical solder powder industrialization in Tin Profiles Company Limited of Yunnan Tin.2008-2013,has a total production and sales of spherical solder powder 1418 tons,and sales income of 490.395 million yuan,profit and tax 99.49 million yuan.In addition,the indirect benefits of saving equipment investment hit 54.76 million yuan.Research papers further improve the YTC solder products,and accelerate the construction of YTC tin timber base,which promote the development of industrial and technological progress YTC deep processing products,Thus the local economy in Yunnan play a positive role in promoting.Meanwhile,the research to further develop our rich tin resources,and enhance the core competitiveness of enterprises,furthermore promote local economic development are of great significance.
