At present, the problem of water in oil has caused great inconvenience and harm in many practical applications.Hydrophilic and oleophobic materials can remove a small amount of water in the oil-water mixture due to their hydrophilic and oleophobic properties, therefore,it has aroused people’s wide attention.Porous materials with high porosity, large specific surface area and other characteristics can usually be used as a hydrophilic oleophobic material substrate materials, and in the adsorption, oil and water separation field has a very good application. In this paper, high internal phase emulsion template method is used to prepare porous materials. This method can realize hydrophilic and oleophobic properties of materials through one-step polymerization of different monomers. The preparation method is simple and convenient, and the porous structure of the prepared polymer makes the materials have good mechanical properties and reusable properties. Therefore,in this paper,a series of porous polymers with hydrophilic and oleophobic properties were prepared by using high internal phase emulsion template method, and their applications in oil-water separation and dye adsorption were explored. The main research content and summary are as follows:1.Porous polymers with pH-responsive properties were prepared by using high internal phase emulsion template method. The porous polymers were successfully prepared by adjusting the proportion of diethylaminoethyl methacrylate(DEAEMA)in continuous phase and perfluorooctyl methacrylate(FMA)in dispersed phase.Through the protonation reaction of amine groups in the porous polymer, the prepared porous polymer can be transformed from amphiphobic to hydrophilic and oleophobic through the change in the pH.Such wettability transformation enables the porous polymer to achieve controllable water removal in the oil under the condition of controlling the pH value of the aqueous solution. In addition, the converted hydrophilic and oleophobic porous polymer can achieve continuous water removal from oil under the action of external pressure, and the removal efficiency is up to 99%.2.The magnetically responsive porous polymer was prepared by using high internal phase emulsion template method with stable Fe3O4 nanoparticles. The prepared porous polymer is hydrophilic and oleophobic. The oil contact angle is up to 125°,and the 6 μL water drop can be completely absorbed in 20 s.The porous polymer can selectively remove water from oil-in-water emulsion, and the separation efficiencies of n-hexane,hexadecane,diesel and soybean oil with water reaches 99.5%,99.8%,99.3%and 93.8%,respectively.In addition, because of the material’s magnetic responsiveness,it can be recycled with magnets after it absorbs water from the oil-water mixture.3.Two-layer/mixed porous polymers were prepared by copolymerization of imidazole-based high internal phase emulsion and itaconic acid sodium based high internal phase emulsion respectively.By comparison, the prepared double-layer porous polymer has a good adsorption performance for the mixed dye of Sunset Yellow and Methylene Blue, but the mixed porous polymer has a poor adsorption performance. The adsorption capacity of imidazole salt based porous polymer for sunset yellow and fast green was up to 103 mg/g and 336 mg/g respectively. The adsorption capacity of the porous polymer based on itaconic acid was 29 mg/g.
