Study On The Factors Influencing Public Participation In Environmental Governance In Urban Communities

In the process of urbanization development,the pattern of rural society has been changed,and communities have become the place where more and more people live.However,in the process of urban development,the problems such as community environmental pollution have seriously affected the living standard of residents.In order to further solve the urban community environmental problems,improve the level of urban community environmental governance,community public gradually participate in the urban community environmental governance work.The research shows that the public participation in community governance can solve the dual failure of market and government.However,due to the inertia of "government-led" governance mode,the public’s enthusiasm to participate in community environmental governance is not high,and public participation is a mere formality.Therefore,it is necessary to actively explore the influencing factors of public participation in urban community environmental governance.Taking Dongshan Community of Chengdu as an example,this paper analyzes the status quo of public participation in community environmental governance through field research on Dongshan Community.It is found that there are some problems in the environmental governance of Dongshan community,such as the unbalanced structure of the main body of community governance,the low level of organization of community environmental governance,the lack of democratic consultation in the process of community environmental governance,and the low level of public participation in community environmental governance.Combining with the domestic and foreign research present situation and the theoretical basis,this article from the path of public participation in environmental governance to explore the influence factors of public participation in community governance environment,think public information,publicity and education,public participation,public participation in organizational level,participation channels,to participate in the platform is the key factors influencing the public participation in environmental governance,Based on the present situation and existing problems of the public participation in the community environmental governance of Dongshan community,the factors affecting the public participation in the community environmental governance of Dongshan community are proposed.Through to the community public field interview and questionnaire survey,data collection,sorting data,using the correlation analysis and regression analysis to put forward the assumption of empirical test,finally it is concluded that the public information,publicity and education,public participation,public participation in organizational level,to participate in channel and the platform for the public participation in the community environmental governance has a positive influence.Dongshan community environmental management problems that exist in the targeted put forward countermeasures and Suggestions to improve the public participation in community governance environment,including a sound system of information disclosure,improve the information sharing mechanism,strengthening propaganda and education,improve the consciousness of public participation,guiding the development of community self-organization,strengthen community self-organizing service ability,build community environment consultation work platform,We will expand channels for public participation.
