| Shape memory epoxy resin(SMPs)is a new type of intelligent material,its excellent performance is mainly reflected in the perception of thermal,magnetic,optical,electrical and other external stimuli show Shape Memory performance,which is the most widely used in thermal SMPs.Considering that the thermal and mechanical properties of SMPs can not meet the needs of some engineering applications,In order to investigate the thermo-mechanical properties of SMPs enhanced by physical random doping of short glass fiber(GF)and graphene oxide(GO),a combination of experimental and simulation methods was used to investigate the thermo-mechanical properties of SMPs enhanced by GF and GO.Specific studies are as follows:(1)GF and GO physical hybrid shape memory epoxy resin composites(GF/GO-SMPCs)and short glass fiber surface chemically grafted graphene oxide doping shape memory epoxy resin composites(GF-GO-SMPCs)were prepared by experiments.(2)The heat transfer efficiency of GF/GO-SMPCs and GF-GO-SMPCs was studied respectively through heat conduction experiment.The heat transfer efficiency of GF/GO-SMPCs was the highest 22.09%higher than that of SMPs was proved,while compared with SMPs,the heat transfer efficiency of GF-GO-SMPCs was not improved.(3)Uniaxial tensile test and shape memory performance test were carried out for GF/GO-SMPCs.The study showed that the doping content of GF was proportional to the elongation at break of the material,which was 3.51%higher than that of SMPs,indicating that the toughness of the composite was improved by GF.When GF content was 0.15 wt%,The tensile strength of the material is the highest,which is 26.8%higher than that of SMPs.The results of shape memory performance test showed that the shape fixation rate of GF/GO-SMPCs was above 99.4%,and the shape recovery rate of GF/GO-SMPCs decreased with the increase of GF content.When the GO content was 0.05 wt%,the shape recovery rate of GF/GO-SMPCs was up to 100%.(4)The finite element constitutive model of viscoelastic materials was established.In order to verify the reliability of the finite element model,finite element simulation of SMPs heating uniaxial tensile test was carried out by using ABAQUS finite element software to verify the reliability of the model parameters.Finite element models of SMPs,short glass fiber/shape memory epoxy resin composites(GF-SMPCs),graphene oxide/shape memory epoxy resin composites(GO-SMPCs)and GF/GO-SMPCs were established respectively.The results showed that The shape fixation rate and shape recovery rate of GF-SMPs can be significantly improved by doping GF,while the shape fixation rate of GF/GO-SMPCs decreases by doping GO.When GF and GO acted together,the shape fixation rate of GF/GO-SMPCs was increased.The effect of GO on the thermal properties of GO-SMPCs combined with the effect of GF on the mechanical properties of GF/GO-SMPCs can lead to the ideal thermo-mechanical properties of GF/GO-SMPCs. |
