Application Of Fiber Materials In Contemporary Jewelry Design (Research)

As a common ornament in people’s life,jewelry is an indispensable item for people to decorate themselves and show themselves,which has a very important influence in our contemporary daily life.Different backgrounds and cultural environments will have different degrees of impact on the development of jewelry in different aspects,which make jewelry has significant social and cultural characteristics.Jewelry has not only been used as jewelry since ancient times.Today,human civilization highly developed,jewelry not only has objective beauty,but also has certain physical functions,which can become a medium for people to convey feelings and self-expression.However,no matter how jewelry develops,it is not divorced from its original meaning.The value and significance of jewelry research are determined by the various fields of jewelry and its inclusiveness.In the environment of contemporary jewelry development,more and more people choose fiber materials with rich colors and strong operability as jewelry creation materials.Fiber material itself has a deep relationship with people.Its creative advantages and the influence of the environment are also one of the reasons why it is favored and promoted.Human civilization is also rolling forward and developed in the process of species change.Nowadays,the selection of new materials,the form of creation,the process of making and the variety of styles of fiber material jewelry all come from people’s exquisite feeling of life,the in-depth analysis of the aesthetic characteristics of contemporary jewelry,the sensitive perception of materials,the mastery of process methods and so on.To continuously explore the fiber and related materials that the public like,so as to give more impetus to the continuous development of contemporary jewelry creation,which is the most important thing for the public to rely on fiber and related materials.This article is mainly based on the development status of fiber material jewelry,based on the author’s seven-year understanding and learning of contemporary jewelry materials and technology,focusing on the fiber materials contacted in the process of practice,combined with the different research and exploration of fiber materials on jewelry,and then through the appreciation of excellent works at home and abroad,this paper analyzes the design and creation of contemporary fiber jewelry,It provides more design angles and creative ideas for the development of contemporary jewelry,and provides an effective reference for the practical application of fiber material jewelry in the future.
