In the growing period of sofa brand competitiveness is relatively weak,sofa products lack of certain inheritance and continuity.In the design and development stage,taking product design DNA elements into consideration is an important means to ensure the consistency of product design and improve the overall style and brand value of sofa products.Sofa brand genes are dominant and recessive.The dominant gene’s vision,style,behavior and other elements are reflected in product form,material and color.Among them,the product form can reflect dominant gene most.According to the knowledge of genetics,dominant genes can be divided into personality genes,adaptive genes and universal genes.The emotional and story elements of recessive genes reveal their brand image,connotation and cultural characteristics,and recessive genes can be expressed indirectly through specific style image words.Popular growth sofa brand has relatively prominent dominant characteristics and recessive genes,its main style market sales outstanding,with similar morphological characteristics,proving that there can be inherited excellent genes.By comparing the product modeling of growth brands and excellent brands,it is found that the law of value appreciation is closely related to modeling.Growth brands sofa products update slowly,modeling lags behind,and lack of strong products and themes.By comparing the style image with the quadrant map,it is found that the expression of the excellent brand is more focused in the hidden level than that of the growing brand.The theme of product series of excellent brands and corresponding products show the high harmony and unity of product explicit and recessive genes.On the contrary,the product modeling,brand culture and product image of growth brands do not form a perfect correspondence.They are inferior to excellent brands in appearance value sense,brand personality and other aspects,and have a lot of room for improvement.Four groups of main styles in the growing brands are taken as the starting point to explore the correlation between dominant and recessive genes of sofa products from two aspects of shape and style image words.The experiment focused on sofa form.The author used morphological induction to divide the dominant form elements of sofa into 11 general forms,including structural form,functional form and technological form.The 11 general forms were analyzed one by one to generate 26 subdivided forms,and the codes were carried out.The corresponding brand image words and product image words were collected and sorted out through reference literature review and interviews with users and internal staff of enterprises.Target brand screening sample for experiment,questionnaire survey,the content of the recessive level to obtain the measurement data,determine the sofa sample product form features,a questionnaire survey was conducted again,and then decompose the genetic characteristics,extraction and segmentation form,on the basis of questionnaire results,application of numerical method to analyze the theory of class Ⅰstyle image,the corresponding relationship between the dominant form of gene A morphological gene bank with high adaptability to style image was formed,and the verification results of new samples proved the reliability of the method.The results showed that the high score of a form,that is,the high correlation between dominant gene and recessive gene,proved that the form should be inherited by the growing brand.The greater the absolute value of subdivision form score,the more dominant form gene is worth extracting.This paper from two aspects of dominant and recessive form style image of growth sofa brand mainly study style,can be selected by the method of quantification theory type Ⅰ to be able to reflect the form gene of brand culture,product image,extraction,recessive gene corresponding to each other,can be passed down form,to help realize to excellent brand promotion growth brand.This study has important reference value for product gene and brand research.
