Under the new national development configuration, grasping the position of Chinese enterprises in the global value chain is necessary to deal with global economic and political changes;and from the viewpoint of the environment, analyzing the deep-seated relationship between the environment and economic indicators is the responsibility of promoting the rapid and high-quality development of economy, integrating "golden mountains and silver mountains" and "green waters and green mountains" to build a beautiful China. To a certain extent, the domestic value-added rate of corporate exports is a reflection of a country’s status in the global value chain, while environmental regulations reflect the country’s emphasis on environmental protection, but few scholars combine the two to explore the relationship between them.Based on the perspective of micro-enterprise,this article uses the 2010-2013 China Industrial Business Database and Customs Trade Database to match the combined database to estimate the domestic value-added rate of Chinese manufacturing companies’ exports. At the same time, the "Notice on Launching the Second Batch of Experimental Work in Low-Carbon Provinces and Cities" according to NDRC’s 2012 “Twelfth Five-Year Plan” was issued as an exogenous environmental regulatory policy impact.Through a rigorous robustness test,PSM-DID is finally selected to explore the impact of environmental regulation on the domestic value-added rate of Chinese manufacturing enterprises’ exports. At the same time,a rich heterogeneity test is also carried out.Studies have shown that environmental regulations have generally suppressed the overall export DVAR of Chinese manufacturing enterprises in the short term, but meanwhile they have heterogeneous characteristics: the negative impact of environmental regulations on the export DVAR of polluting enterprises, enterprises in the eastern region, and capital-intensive enterprises are particularly significant, but at the same time it will also significantly increase the export DVAR of processing trade enterprises. Therefore, according to the heterogeneity of enterprises with different ownership, different trade methods, different industries, different regions and different factor intensities,a "stepped" environmental regulation policy can be formulated to reduce passive impact to DVAR through various influence channels in the short term.Promoting a virtuous circle of domestic environment and domestic and foreign economy.
