China is a country with large tungsten resources.The annual output of tungsten concentrate ranks first in the world.A large number of tailings will be generated during the beneficiation process.Up to now,the stockpile of tungsten tailings in my country has reached 20 million tons,which occupies a large amount of land and causes certain environmental impacts.harm.This paper uses tungsten tailings as aggregate to prepare artificial stone,and proposes a new way to realize the secondary utilization of tungsten tailings resources and alleviate the problem of tungsten tailings stockpiling.Since the mechanical strength of tungsten tailings artificial stone is lower than that of traditional quartz artificial stone,this paper systematically studies the influence of aggregate gradation,preparation process and reinforcement material on the mechanical properties of artificial stone.The main research contents and results are as follows:Based on the theory of maximum compactness,the fractal theory and the variable k method are used for aggregate gradation design and experimental verification.The research results show that when the artificial stone is prepared by fractal aggregate gradation,the mechanical properties are the strongest when the fractal dimension F=2.7,the bending strength is 45.49 MPa,and the compressive strength is 201.74MPa;the variable k method aggregate gradation is at k1 = 0.65,k2 = 0.8 when the mechanical properties are the best,the bending strength is 42.02 MPa,the compressive strength is 173.55 MPa,the comparison shows that the fractal aggregate gradation scheme is better than the variable k method aggregate gradation.Based on the component characteristics and curing mechanism of artificial stone,the influence of filler dosage,resin system and artificial stone molding process on the mechanical properties of artificial stone was systematically studied.When the dosage of the agent is1.0~1.5wt%,the dosage of the silane coupling agent is 1.0wt%,the vacuum vibration pressing time is 270 s,the high temperature curing temperature is 90℃,and the high temperature curing time is 2h,the tungsten tailings artificial stone has the best performance.The bending strength is 41.61 MPa,the compressive strength is 187.69 MPa,the porosity is 0.077%,and the water absorption rate is 0.032%.The preparation process was optimized by response surface method;the optimized process conditions were as follows: fractal dimension F=2.61,filler dosage21.49wt%,resin dosage 11.35wt%,the bending strength was 41.83 MPa,and the compressive strength was 191.27 MPa,the porosity is 0.069%,the water absorption rate is 0.029%,and various properties have been improved to a certain extent.Comparing the reinforcement effects of different types of fibers on tungsten tailings artificial stone,the results show that glass fiber has the best reinforcement effect.When the fiber length is 9 mm and the fiber content is 0.6wt%,the reinforcement effect is the best,and the bending strength of fiber reinforced artificial stone is the best.The compressive strength reaches 42.13 MPa,and the compressive strength reaches 188.86MPa;ultrasonic-coupling modification is carried out on the glass fiber,the ultrasonic power is 1800 W,the solubility of the silane coupling agent KH-570 is 6wt%,the reaction temperature is 70℃,and the reaction time is At 120 min,the reinforcement effect is the best,the flexural strength of artificial stone is45.64 MPa,and the compressive strength is 197.38MPa;when the ratio of alcohol to water is1:1,the dosage of KH-570 is 6wt%,the temperature is 80℃,and the time is 120 min,the filler is The modification effect is the best,and the micro-morphological analysis of it by scanning electron microscope(SEM)shows that the dispersibility of the modified filler has been significantly improved;Compared with the unreinforced tungsten tailings artificial stone,the bending strength and compressive strength are increased by 14.85% and 11.53% respectively,the water absorption rate is 0.027%,the wear resistance is 2.1 g/m2,the Mohs hardness is greater than 6,and the ball drop impact resistance is 10 J.,all performances are in line with the standard JG/T463-2014.
