Ancient Chinese clothing strictly covered the body,only the head and hands were sometimes exposed.Therefore,the hat and jewelry can be understood as additional decorations worn on the head and hands,which complement the decorative effect of the clothing.The first clothes use the shape to symbolize the man’s identity,and the material to symbolize the elegant and vulgar taste;the jewelry uses the material to symbolize the wealth of the lady’s family,and most of the ornaments symbolize the identity.The craftsmanship of the two reflects the extremely high level of development of ancient handicraft skills.These ornaments consume precious materials and consume manpower,but the "fine" and "expensive" artistic aesthetic experience they bring to people is different from that of modern products,which is also the essence of traditional creations.This paper analyzes the artistic aesthetics of the unearthed cultural relics of the Ming Dynasty in the hat jewelry category,extracts valuable elements,and integrates the wisdom of the creations of the Ming Dynasty into modern life through clothing and cultural and creative design.Inherit ancient philosophy and enrich modern art.The thesis is divided into two parts: art archaeological theoretical research and design practice.The art archaeology part includes the plastic arts research in the first chapter and the decorative arts research in the second chapter.The reason why a hairpin is a hairpin and the reason why a cap is a hat is first determined by the functional shape of the object.Analysis of the shape can also classify the unearthed cultural relics in terms of function.Summarized the state of the coexistence of "old style" and "new style" in the shape of the first clothes and jewelry of the Ming Dynasty,and the speculative attitude of the people of the Ming Dynasty who respected the styles passed down through the ages and did not refuse to try innovative structures;It is time to make aesthetic distinctions within the same category of utensils,such as jade plum blossom hairpins and golden gourd earrings.The decorative art is specifically divided into material art,decorative art and technical art to analyze,and summarizes the balance between function and aesthetics in the selection of materials for first clothes and jewelry.The theme is eclectic;the fourth chapter analyzes the concept of creation in Ming Dynasty’s first clothing and jewelry design.This paper summarizes the regional characteristics,symbolic value and social connotation expressed by the artifacts under the specific era and regional background of the Jiangnan River Basin of the Grand Canal in the Ming Dynasty.It analyzes the law of aesthetic cycle reflected in the process characteristics,and the close connection between the direction of transportation and the trend of fashion.The Design Practice section includes The Restoration of Cultural Relics in Chapter 3 and the Cultural Derivative Product Design Scheme in Chapter 5.Through the restoration process,we can have a deeper understanding of all aspects of cultural relics modeling,decoration and craftsmanship,as a preliminary work,to bring more references to innovative design.This paper analyzes the three-dimensional modeling method of the crown hat through the restoration of the cultural relics represented by the first dress and the bun represented by the jewelry,and masters the traditional handmade craftsmanship of bamboo weaving,gold wire weaving and lacquer contained therein.This is of reference for the restoration of other similar first dresses and jewelry,and is also the basis for applying these technical innovations to clothing products.The design practice extracts elements from the Ming dynasty first costume jewelry and the modeling and decoration of the Ming dynasty costume to carry out two series of clothing design and accessories design.In the process of practice,the traditional culture design method of "old body and new use" has been summarized,that is,the ancient art form is added to the clothing products that conform to the contemporary lifestyle,such as sports and fitness clothing,which is an excellent way to make traditional culture always alive.
