| air permeability showed that although this method was effective in removing surface hairiness of ramie fabric,it also hinders the serviceability of ramie fabric in other aspects.(1)Low concentration copper ammonia solution was used to refine ramie fiber to realize ramie softening so that the scratchiness was eliminated.Ramie fabric was treated with the copper ammonia solution with concentration reduced and the re-solidification process by abandoning Na OH.The results of the test for softness and surface roughness of the fabric showed that the soft finishing effect will increase with the decrease of concentration in a certain concentration range,but the soft finishing effect is not obvious when the concentration was lower.With the increased of time,the soft finishing effect of copper ammonia solution on ramie fabric gradually decreased,and the bending stiffness of ramie fabric increased.And,the softness of the fabric treated for 30 min was similar to that of the original ramie fabric.And the bending stiffness of the fabric after different temperature treatments was similar to that of the original ramie fabric,which indicated that there was little effect by temperature on the finishing of ramie fabric with copper ammonia solution.Ramie softening could be achieved by 2.5 wt%copper ammonia solution for 2 min at room temperature,short time and little energy were needed but with high efficiency.The results of the measurement of fiber diameter showed that the diameter of ramie fiber is reduced by 30-37.5%after copper ammonia solution treatment,which was used to analyze the causes of fabric softening.The.Seen from the XRD test results,the crystallinity of the fiber was decreased slightly but still maintained at 76.54%.The results of the breaking strength of the fabric showed that the tensile strength of ramie fabric could be well maintained by treating ramie fabric under optimum conditions with copper ammonia solution.The tests of air permeability,whiteness and moisture regain showed that the comfort of the fabric was not affected after softening.(2)A study on the softening effect of copper ammonia solution and several common softeners on ramie fabric and the softening effect of two-step treatment with copper ammonia and softener to ramie fabric.The softening finishing of ramie fabric with copper ammonia solution,emulsified silicone oil(LKR-1023),glycerin and polyethylene wax emulsion(HA-soft 80)showed that copper ammonia solution could better soften ramie fabric,and the treatment conditions were easier to achieve and less time was spent.The ramie fabric treated with copper ammonia solution continues to be finished with a softener.The results showed that the bending stiffness of Ramie fabric decreased obviously,and the softness increased only after LKR-1023 treatment.Seen from the surface roughness test that the smoothing effect of the three reagents on the fabric is LKR-1023>glycerol>HA-soft 80,and the surface of ramie fabric modified by the two-step method with copper ammonia and LKR-1023 was the smoothest,whose results were consistent with the results of bending stiffness.The EDS results showed that Si element appeared on the fabric surface after softening treatment.The infrared spectrum of the fabric treated with LKR-1023 showed an absorption peak of-Si(CH3)2-O-,indicating that LKR-1023 was successfully treated to the fabric surface during the softening finishing process.(3)A study on the reusability and recyclability of copper ammonia solution.Ramie fabric was repeatedly treated in copper ammonia solution for soft modification.When the copper ammonia solution was only used once,the bending stiffness of the fabric decreases greatly.And the fiber was still with the trend of bending for about 5 times,but the soft finishing effect of the fabric basically disappeared after using it for 10 times.At this time,the fiber morphology of the fabric treated for the 10th treatment was similar to that of the original ramie fabric,and the bending stiffness was close to that of the original ramie fabric,indicating that the copper ammonia solution should be recycled after being used for about 5 times.The crystallinity of ramie fabric decreased gradually with the increase of use times,and the crystallinity of the fabrics treated in copper ammonia solution after1,5 and 10 times were reduced from 80%to 77.43%,77.84%and 78.24%respectively,indicating that the effect of copper ammonia solution to fabric gradually weakened with the using time increased.Under the limitation of laboratory conditions,the recovery of the solution could still successfully collect most of the copper ions,and the recovery method was simple to operate,indicating the feasibility of the recovery of copper ammonia solution in industrial production.In this paper,copper ammonia solution and micro-dissolution technology were used to eliminate the itching of ramie fabric successfully.High concentration copper ammonia solution was used to dissolve the hairiness of ramie fabric efficiently,and a membrane structure was formed by solidifying to eliminate the itch caused by ramie hairiness;low concentration copper ammonia solution was used to refine the internal fiber of ramie fabric to obtain ramie softening,to eliminate the itching of ramie fabric.Through a series of characterizations of the two ways,to maintain the wearing comfort of the fabric,the latter way was used to eliminate the itch in this paper finally.The ramie fabric was treated with softener and copper ammonia solution,and the further softening of the ramie fabric was realized.The copper ammonia solution used after the experiment was tried to recover,and a large amount of copper ion was recovered. |
