With the development of China’s economy and society,the waste generated by production and life has continued to increase,and the garbage surrounding the city and garbage everywhere in some areas has become a pain to the people and a problem to the people’s livelihood.It is undeniable that there is a significant long-term problem in the comprehensive management of domestic solid industrial waste,which has a heavy impact on the ecological environment,and the construction of "waste-free cities" is another major initiative of the strategic decision made by the 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China to "vigorously promote the construction of ecological civilization".The "waste-free city" construction is another major initiative made by the 18 th CPC Congress to "vigorously promote the construction of ecological civilization",and the promotion of "waste-free city" construction is undoubtedly the biggest good news for China’s ecological protection industry.Since the 19 th Party Congress,the Party Central Committee and the State Council have placed solid waste pollution protection and management in the forefront of ecological civilization construction and made a series of major initiatives.The most important problem now is how to solve the comprehensive management of solid industrial waste,which has become a necessary path to build a "waste-free city" and is a problem that needs to be solved.In recent years,Daye has introduced a series of ecological restoration work plans,and has come out of a development path of successful transformation of resource-depleted cities,Daye is accelerating from the former "mining and metallurgy capital" to today’s "ecological city".This paper analyzes the current situation of solid waste generation and disposal in Daye from several aspects,such as general industrial solid waste,agricultural solid waste,residential solid waste and hazardous waste,and points out the existence of The solid waste disposal capacity construction still needs to be improved,the comprehensive management system needs to be perfected,the market operation level needs to be improved and other problems.Then,taking tailings as an example,the problems of tailings management in Daye are clarified,including most tailings pond designs are not standardized,the construction of tailings ponds does not comply with the construction procedures or the construction volume is poor,the management of tailings ponds is weak,and outside interference is serious,etc.Suggestions for solid waste disposal such as recovering valuable metal elements,developing into construction materials,filling the mine void area,and using for making fertilizer are also put forward.Then,the advanced experience of waste-free city construction and solid waste disposal at home and abroad is summarized.Finally,this paper studies the problems and countermeasures in the development of "waste-free city" in Daye,among which the problems are mainly industrial solid waste production,high intensity,low comprehensive utilization rate,insufficient coordination of management system construction,industry technical standards and norms need to be improved,small volume and disposal capacity of medical waste collection and delivery,and the problems about The "waste-free city" residents do not have a high degree of awareness of several aspects.And the corresponding countermeasures are proposed,such as suppressing the generation of solid waste from the root,improving the recycling efficiency of industrial solid waste,strengthening top-level design,stimulating market vitality,building a long-term management system,strengthening publicity and guidance,improving technical guidance,and increasing financial support to improve and enhance.The research of this paper is important to promote the construction of "waste-free city" in Daye.
