The long-tube trailer tube bundle container is widely used in the medium and short distance transportation of hydrogen.The application of the plastic inner liner composite material hydrogen storage bottle(type IV bottle)can improve the economic benefits of the tube bundle container,however,the type IV bottle with large aspect ratio has the characteristics of long body and weak stiffness.Therefore,the bending properties of type IV bottles should be fully considered in the design stage to ensure product quality and operation safety.In this paper,the bending properties of type IV bottle under static loading are studied by means of experiment and finite element simulation.The main work carried out is as follows:(1)The bending specimens of carbon fiber composite arc laminate(arc laminate specimens)with winding process are designed and prepared.And the three-point bending test is carried out in the form of concave contact loading head according to the characteristics of the specimen.The differences between the stress-strain curves and the failure modes of the curved laminate specimens with different spiral winding angles are analyzed and discussed.The surface topography analysis of the specimen is carried out,and the failure of the matrix is determined as the critical discriminant point between the linear segment and the pseudoplastic segment.(2)The numerical analysis model for the bending performance of arc structure in the winding process is established.Based on the Hashin criterion and the CamanhoMatthews progressive damage model,the numerical analysis model for the bending performance of arc structure in the winding process is preliminarily established,and the four damage factors of the model are optimized according to the test results.Based on the established model,the effect of spiral winding angle on the bending properties of arc laminates was studied.The results show that the numerical analysis model of bending performance of arc structure in winding process has a high accuracy in the calculation of bending elastic modulus and bending strength of the string.(3)Combined with the size and structure of type IV bottle,the numerical analysis model for bending property of type IV bottle is established,and the deflection calculation method of type IV bottle is preliminarily obtained.The research is carried out by taking the length of the bottle as an invariant,and the effects of spiral winding angle,bottle length-thickness ratio and bottle aspect ratio on the bending properties of type IV bottle under static loading are revealed.Combined with multiple nonlinear regression analysis,the deflection calculation method and application range of type IV bottle under static loading under the influence of multi-parameters are given.
