The party and the state have always attached great importance to the protection of the natural ecological environment.The 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China proposed to give prominence to the construction of ecological civilization,integrate it into the whole process of economic,political,cultural and social development,accelerate the construction of a beautiful China and realize the sustainable development of the Chinese nation.The proposal of the construction of a beautiful China is a correct choice made by our party on the basis of a correct analysis of the current ecological environment and social development.And it is a deeper understanding of the construction of ecological civilization in our country.As an important development strategy in the new era,the construction of a beautiful China bears the expectations of Chinese sons and daughters for a beautiful ecological environment.Therefore,we should speed up the process of building a beautiful China.First of all,this thesis explains the connotation of a beautiful China,and discusses the theoretical basis of the construction of a beautiful China,namely Marxist ecological thought and Xi Jinping thought on ecological civilization.Secondly,it analyzes the current status of the construction of a beautiful China.At present,the construction of a beautiful China is progressing as scheduled,and some achievements have been achieved,such as the effective improvement of the ecological environment,the in-depth implementation of key ecological projects,and the continuous development of the green economy.However,we must also see that with the deepening of practice,the construction of a beautiful China still faces some problems,such as the serious shortage of natural resources,the system and mechanism of ecological civilization have not been improved,and the lack of public awareness of ecological and environmental protection.Finally,starting from the problems,explore the practical path to strengthen the construction of a beautiful China.On the basis of following the principles of equality and harmony,ecological security,and sustainable development,in view of the current problems,we will explore the practical path of building a beautiful China from various aspects such as building an environmental governance system,using natural resources in a sensible way,improving the ecological protection mechanism and enhancing environmental awareness.
