UHMWPE is a class of thermoplastic engineering plastics with a linear structure,the most important feature of which is the high molecular weight in the chemical equation,and it is precisely because of this chemical structure that UHMWPE has unparalleled excellent performance of other ordinary engineering plastics.It is known as "magic plastic" in the field of plastic applications at home and abroad.In many industrial production fields,UHMWPE with its superior properties has been able to be used as a substitute for carbon steel,bronze,alloy and other metal materials,UHMWPE sheet in mechanical parts,food processing,mineral transportation,river silt transportation and medicine and health and other fields of application is also more and more extensive.Ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene(UHMWPE)plate although it has relatively superior comprehensive performance,but in the actual use of the found that the connection between the plates is mostly mechanical connection and gluing,and these two methods have inevitable shortcomings,this paper combines the material properties of ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene on the basis of plastic hot melt connection technology,the use of hot compression molding connection method to achieve the connection between ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene plates,the analysis of the plate temperature and stress distribution law in the plate connection process,The value intervals for heat source temperature,hot pressure depth and heat transfer time are obtained.Using the method of orthogonal test,the tensile strength test of UHMWPE plate specimen was carried out,and the test results were processed by signal-to-noise ratio method and pole difference method,and the influence of three process parameters of heating temperature,hot pressing depth and heat transfer time on the strength of the plate connection was obtained,and the optimal combination of three parameters was determined by analyzing the data.The results show that the temperature field of ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene in the hot press connection process will lead to continuous changes in its stress field,and the positive stress peak of the heating stage and the hot pressing stage appears at 4-5mm from the connection surface,and the stress is expressed as compressive stress on the near connection surface and tensile stress on the distal end surface.Residual stress is essentially zero at slow air cooling at room temperature.The most important factor affecting the quality of the plate connection is the connection depth,followed by the heating time and finally the heating temperature.The analysis and study of the hot compression molding connection mechanism and process parameters of ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene plate on the joining strength of the plate can enrich the connection between ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene sheet,and this method has obvious advantages over the traditional mechanical connection and gluing method,and this paper has certain theoretical and practical significance for the further application and promotion of UHMWPE plate...
