A Study On Ecological Restoration And Landscape Design Of Abandoned Mining Areas From The Perspective Of Landscape Processism

Driven by the construction of ecologically livable cities and the development of low-carbon economy,the governance and regeneration of abandoned mining areas has become a hot topic at the forefront of the discipline.Throughout its research and development status at home and abroad,the governance and regeneration of abandoned mining areas has undergone a transition from a single mode of ecological restoration to a comprehensive mode that combines ecological restoration and landscape regeneration.However,a lot of research and practice focus on the spatial dimension and construction speed of its restoration and regeneration,ignoring the restoration and regeneration process in the time dimension,causing a series of problems such as pollution residues,waste of resources and increased maintenance costs.Fortunately,the concept of landscape processism,which is to guide natural processes to do work,provides a good recipe for solving a series of problems existing in the ecological restoration and landscape regeneration of abandoned mining areas.Such scientific and poetic solutions not only effectively promote the ecological restoration of the abandoned mining area also gives full play to the special landscape ecological value,social value,aesthetic value and cultural value of the abandoned mining area,forming a dynamic landscape regeneration picture,which is enhances the comprehensive benefits of ecological restoration and landscape regeneration in abandoned mining areas through the high integration of time and space.This research takes the abandoned mining area of Jiangsu Garden Expo Park as the research object,and aims to explore the theoretical methods and strategies of ecological restoration and landscape design in the current abandoned mining area in our country from the perspective of landscape processism.Firstly,through the in-depth analysis of "landscape processism"and its related background theories,the research establishes the construction mechanism of ecological restoration and landscape design in abandoned mining areas under landscape processism;Secondly,the research takes the landscape processism as the starting point,starts from the expression methods and process regulation types of the ecological restoration of the abandoned mining area,and summarizes the ecological restoration strategies of the abandoned mining area in Jiangsu Garden Expo Park;Thirdly,starting from the design concept,multiple expressions and element regeneration types of landscape regeneration in abandoned mining areas,this research combs and summarizes the landscape regeneration strategies of abandoned mining areas in Jiangsu Garden Expo Park under the landscape processism.The study found that the ecological restoration and landscape design of abandoned mining areas under the landscape processism have the characteristics of "two beauties" in both science and aesthetics.On the one hand,it respects the laws of nature and the characteristics of the site,and on the other hand,it establishes a framework for site ecological restoration and landscape regeneration through the introduction of time scales,forming a dynamic landscape composition and bringing rich visual aesthetics.This has important implications for the governance and regeneration of abandoned mining areas and even the construction of ecological civilization of our country in the future.Therefore,starting from the principles and characteristics of landscape processism and the concept of composition,this study further discusses and summarizes the methods and strategies of ecological restoration and landscape regeneration in the abandoned mining area of Jiangsu Garden Expo Park through multi-dimensional and multiangle analysis.Through the theoretical construction of ecological restoration and landscape design of abandoned mining areas under the landscape processism,this paper aims to explore the management and regeneration strategies of abandoned mining areas in which "science and poetry" coexist.
