With the increasing demand of tin resources in the world,the fine cassiterite in tailings has become an important supplementary source of Tin Resources.It is difficult to recover fine cassiterite because of its small mass,large specific surface area,increased surface effect,enhanced interaction between minerals and the influence of slime.Dachang,Guangxi,is a famous cassiterite polymetallic sulphide ore base in our country,and the Mineral Association is complex.In the long-term ore dressing process,some fine cassiterite can not be recovered due to the restriction of technical means and is lost in the tailings.In this paper,the recovery of Fine cassiterite by flotation reagent and technology was studied.1)The paper first takes pure minerals as the research object,systematically studies the flotation behavior of fine-grained cassiterite,calcite and quartz under the new collector GZ-1 and conventional collector systems,and studies the inhibition of GZ-1 system.At the same time,the influence of some metal ions on cassiterite in the GZ-1 system was studied.The results show that:GZ-1 has better collecting effect on cassiterite than conventional collectors,and the collecting ability of calcite is weaker,but not on quartz.Sodium hexametaphosphate can effectively separate cassiterite and calcite by flotation.;Lead ions can activate cassiterite and improve the recovery rate of cassiterite.The adsorption capacity measurement study showed that:at normal temperature,when p H=6.5,the adsorption capacity of the collector GZ-1 on the surface of cassiterite was the largest,and the adsorption capacity of the agent on the surface of the cassiterite was proportional to the amount of the collector GZ-1.The Zeta potential detection study shows that the zero electric point of cassiterite is 4.1,and the surface potentiometric potential of cassiterite is negatively shifted after interacting with the collector,indicating that the collector mainly acts on the surface of cassiterite in the form of chemical adsorption.Infrared spectral analysis showed that GZ-1produced chemical bonding on the surface of cassiterite,forming a new complex of ionic bonds,and mainly adsorbed on the surface of the mineral in the form of chemical adsorption,increasing the hydrophobicity of the mineral surface,thereby enhancing the mineral surface.Floatability.2)On the basis of pure mineral experimental research,the flotation performance of GZ-1 on its fine-grained cassiterite was studied by using the desulfurization tailings from the processing plant of Sanxin Environmental Treatment Co.,Ltd.in Nandan County,Guangxi.The results show that the content of tin is 0.70%,the main gangue minerals are calcite and quartz,the distribution rate of tin in the-37μm particle size is 81.18%,and the tin in the-19μm particle size is 46.67%,and the amount of sulfuric acid is 200 g/t,sodium hexametaphosphate 200 g/t,lead nitrate 400 g/t,collector GZ-1 1400 g/t,P86 90g/t and 2~#oil 90 g/t,using a closed loop process test of one coarse,three fine and three sweeps,The test index of tin-containing Sn10.21%and recovery rate of85.20%was obtained;after the flotation tin concentrate was re-selected by the fine mud shaker,the tin concentrate with a grade of 34.71%and a recovery rate of 47.12%could be obtained.A low-grade tin concentrate with a grade of 4.83%and a recovery rate of 38.18%.3)Based on the laboratory’s pharmaceutical system and technological process,an industrial test was carried out on the desulfurization tailings of Guangxi Nandan Sanxin Environmental Treatment Co.,Ltd.’s processing plant.The results show that the combined flotation-heavy process flow of one roughing,four sweeping and three beneficiation,and the coarse concentrate is re-selected by shaking table,the amount of sulfuric acid is 150g/t,sodium hexametaphosphate 150 g/t,lead nitrate under the conditions of 350 g/t,GZ-11300 g/t,P86 100 g/t and 2~#oil 100 g/t,the industrial production test of desulfurization tailings containing 0.71%tin was carried out for 14 days,and the grade was 31.86%.,the recovery rate is 50.04%tin concentrate and the grade is5.17%,and the recovery rate is 38.31%low-grade tin concentrate.
