Research On The Path Of Enterprise ESG Transformation From The Perspective Of Dynamic Capabilities

As Chinese economy grows,some places blindly pursue the absolute value of GDP,and some companies overemphasize profit maximization.However,due to the conflict between man and nature,social responsibility has become a hot topic.At the same time,stakeholders also put forward higher requirements for the sustainable development.Enterprises are more deeply aware that sustainable development should become an important part of their strategies.Connotation of corporate social responsibility has gradually expanded to the coordinated development of economy,society,resources and environmental protection,thereby creating sustainable long-term value.In this context,green finance,decarbonization,and ESG investment have become mainstream trends.Relevant policy standards have been gradually improved,and ESG transformation has been put on the agenda.Facing the changeable external environment,enterprises have to ensure their core competitiveness.As an important ability to obtain competitive advantages,dynamic capabilities play an significant role in the strategic transformation.Therefore,this paper studies the path of ESG transformation from the perspective of dynamic capabilities.Through literature review and code analysis,it is believed that dynamic capabilities in the process of ESG transformation are composed of analysis and insight capabilities,learning and innovation capabilities,resource allocation capabilities,and restructuring and integration capabilities.Then,based on the logic of "motivation-behavior-result",a path model for dynamic capabilities to act on ESG transformation is constructed.It is found that dynamic capabilities run through the entire process of ESG transformation,and ESG transformation also promotes the adjustment and improvement of dynamic capabilities,which enables enterprises to accurately seize opportunities,calmly respond to challenges,effectively integrate resources,and smoothly promote transformation.The research of this paper expands the thinking of corporate strategic transformation under the sustainable development goals,and provides some reference and inspiration for enterprises to use dynamic capabilities to carry out ESG transformation.
