With the rapid rise and development of new energy vehicles in China,the negative growth of the traditional automotive industry from 2018,the rise of domestic manufacturing costs and the diversification of customer demand,and the gradual mastery of plastic fuel tank product technology by private enterprises,PANB has begun to face more and more fierce competition and operating pressure in the development of China’s auto parts industry market.Since 2019,there has been a decline in both sales and profits of traditional fuel tanks.In the case that the external situation cannot be changed and the diversification of customer demands is gradually increasing,in order to improve the competitiveness of enterprises,it is necessary to optimize the inner site management of enterprises based on lean production thinkings.This paper takes PANB site management as the research object,with depth analysis,it comes out the problems existing in the current field management,such as chaotic production site,low production efficiency,high inventory of products in process and other management problems covered,poor process quality control,etc.At the same time,based on the background of reducing fixed asset investment and strategic transformation,using scientific research methods such as literature research,case studies,field surveys,etc.,to analyze the reasons behind them,combined with lean production theory and tools,formulate and implement site management optimization programs,such as 5S,TPM,rapid transformation,value stream based production process optimization,and total quality management based QCC group activity optimization,Ensure the safety and order of the production site environment,improve the production efficiency and yield,reduce the inventory cost and cultivate the talents.Finally,it will improve the current on-site management level of PANB,reduce waste,reduce costs and increase efficiency,support the strategic transformation of the Group and maintain the current market share of PANB’s fuel tank system.In view of the characteristics of diversified customer demand in the traditional automobile industry and the current situation of decreasing market demand and intensifying competition of PANB’s fuel tank products,lean production theory,total quality management theory and relevant tools and methods are introduced to carry out targeted optimization,improve on-site management,reduce waste,reduce costs and increase efficiency,and improve the market competitiveness of the enterprise.At the same time,the research results can provide certain application reference for manufacturing enterprises with diversified customer needs at home and abroad,especially for relevant traditional automobile parts manufacturing enterprises.
