Research On The Cultural Characteristics Of Liao Dynasty Furniture In Images

Under the unique "Sishi Na bo" system of Liao Dynasty,the liao Dynasty had a dual economic form and life style of nomadic and farming,which also affected the characteristics of furniture.A large number of furniture images can be found in the existing literature of Liao Dynasty.This thesis takes the images of Liao dynasty furniture as the research object,and analyzes the style,function and production of furniture in different life scenes and different life states of all social strata in Liao Dynasty from the images.This study adopts the method of combining visual art semiotics and iconology,and completes the following three contents according to the multi-level interpretation of pre-iconography,iconography and iconology: First,samples are established through the analysis of "pre-iconography" and "iconography".The furniture image resources were sorted out,and the image sources,geographical distribution and image content were screened according to categories.Through the basic analysis of liao Dynasty images,432 furniture samples were sorted out and identified.Secondly,build the pedigree of liao furniture types.Identify the image in the furniture sample,name it according to the form and function,analyze the style,structure,components,decoration and other basic elements of liao dynasty furniture,so as to build the liao furniture pedigree table in the image.Finally,"imagology" is used to analyze the cultural characteristics of Liao furniture.Based on the above pedigree of furniture types,the combination relationship and use mode of furniture in 220 images were summarized and analyzed,and the furniture culture reflected by different use scenarios,users and utensils was interpreted.Through the analysis of the above contents,it can be concluded that the Liao dynasty furniture in the image has the specificity of "special objects and special functions",the time characteristic of "eating and entertainment,table-centered",and the compound characteristic of "lightweight carrying and simple decoration".In the long history of The inheritance and development of Chinese culture,the development of furniture condenses the wisdom of ancient ethnic groups,which makes Chinese furniture culture deeply rooted,which is also the starting point of this study.
