Research On The Status Quo And Influencing Factors Of Residents’ Environmental Behavior In Lin Fen City,Shanxi Province

At present,my country’s ecological environment situation is still severe,and the people’s growing demand for a better ecological environment is in conflict with the environmental problems they are currently facing,making it urgent to address environmental problems.Environmental problems are not only professional problems that need to be faced in the field of environmental science,but also social problems that need to be faced in social development.To explore the social reasons behind environmental problems and to seek social paths for environmental governance is in the context of building a beautiful China.Sociologists should pay attention to mainstream issues.In the final analysis,environmental problems stem from people’s bad production and living behaviors.Based on this,this paper focuses on the representative areas of national environmental problems,and explores the current situation of residents’ environmental behaviors in Shanxi Province and the interaction mechanism behind its influencing factors.This study introduces the theory of social construction,puts the residents’ environmental behavior and its influencing factors in the context of macro social construction,and uses literature analysis,questionnaire survey and structural equation model analysis methods to select Linfen City,Shanxi Province,a representative area of ??environmental problems.Combined with the local comprehensive facts,a survey scale was designed to measure the influencing factors of residents’ environmental behavior,and the research results were summarized through survey and data analysis.First,after establishing an index system to evaluate the environmental behavior of residents in Linfen City,it is concluded that the average score of Linfen residents’ environmental behavior is 3.72 points,which belongs to the middle and upper level,indicating that the overall performance of residents’ environmental protection behavior is good.The second is to use structural equation model to analyze the factors affecting the environmental behavior of residents in Linfen City.It is proved that policy tools,social interaction,and potential variables of social norms all have direct or indirect effects on daily and public environmental behaviors.For the daily environmental behavior of residents in Linfen City,the degree of driving influence from policy tools,social interaction,and social norms is roughly the same;for the public environmental behavior of residents in Linfen City,the implementation of public environmental behavior by residents is most affected by social interaction.The second is the influence from social norms,but policy tools have the least impact on the driving of residents’ public behavior.This study firstly evaluates the current status of residents’ environmental behavior in Linfen City,and then summarizes the impact degree and mechanism of policy tools,social norms,and social interaction on residents’ environmental behavior in Linfen City.The brief countermeasures are expected to provide some reference for future academic research and future environmental governance work of Linfen Municipal Government.
