With the increase of oil and gas exploration and development efforts and the scope of oil and gas pipeline laying,the new and old pipelines laid for years of service in the complex survival environment will have the problem of oil and gas pipeline corrosion,which will inevitably cause pipeline accidents in serious cases and lead to unpredictable pipeline safety problems.Meanwhile,in the safety management of pipelines,the research of pipeline operation monitoring problem accounts for a relatively large part of the research,which is also a noteworthy direction.Therefore,it is very significant to propose the subject of corrosion monitoring of oil and gas pipelines during operation for the safety evaluation of pipeline integrity.In this paper,through statistical analysis of pipeline accident cases,it is found that the highest percentage is the problem of pipeline corrosion,so the pipeline operation corrosion monitoring is proposed.Pipeline failure cases are taken as the research focus in the paper,and different pipeline monitoring approaches are proposed for different failure causes.In the pipeline cathodic protection effectiveness monitoring,the actual production cathodic protection cases are quantitatively analyzed and studied;secondly,for the pipeline wall thickness monitoring problem,the principle of fixed-point thickness measurement is given.At the same time,the pipeline to take corrosion rate monitoring research,summarize the current oilfield site on corrosion hanging strict pick and place steps and for a western oilfield site set up 19 monitoring parts of the data collection and summary,combined with international standards to analyze the corrosion level profile.Next,the remaining life of the pipeline is mathematically modeled to predict the remaining service life of the production pipeline in a western oilfield.Finally,an oil and gas pipeline operation monitoring system is designed for centralized management and analysis of the data generated by the three monitoring methods proposed in this paper.The system designed in this paper,supported by the data of pipeline operation monitoring method,improves the traditional oilfield field data management steps and provides a set of structured oil and gas pipeline monitoring data management software and practical operation steps,which can calculate and evaluate the predictability of the remaining life of oil and gas pipelines in service in the oilfield field,realizing the progress of pipeline integrity research in the prediction of pipeline life.
