High entropy alloys(HEAs)are usually composed of five or more than five elements according to mole ratio or approximate mole ratio.Its phase structure is simple and it has a series of adjustable excellent physical properties,such as high strength,high hardness and large plasticity,temperature resistance and other excellent characteristics.These advantages have great application prospects for high entropy alloys.Therefore,it is particularly important to explore and research the machining of high entropy alloys.Micro grinding is a precision machining procedure.and the surface quality of grinding determines the service life and service life of parts.In order to research the micro scale grinding performance of high entropy alloys,the micro scale grinding performance of high entropy alloy was researched by means of experimental research and simulation analysis.(1)The material removal mechanism and deformation mechanism of high-entropy alloys are researched from two aspects of debris and sub-surface deformation layer.By researching the morphological characteristics of wear debris and the micro-structure of sub-surface,the forming conditions of high-entropic alloy wear debris are elaborated to verify the deformation and removal mechanism of material.In the grinding mechanism,an interactive model suitable for micro-grinding process was established.(2)A three-dimensional grinding simulation model of high-entropic alloy single grit was established,The characteristics of grinding force and heat distribution during grinding highentropy alloys were researched,the variation characteristics of grinding reaction force and temperature distribution during grinding process with increasing grinding time were analyzed,and the influence rules of processing parameters on grinding force of micro-grinding highentropy alloys were researched.The surface and subsurface temperature changes with the change of processing parameters.(3)The influence of machining parameters on grinding force in micro grinding high entropy alloy is confirmed by orthogonal experiment.A group of single factor experiments were designed to change the grinding conditions.The influence of processing parameters on grinding force was researched.The effects of element content,abrasive grain size and surface coating on grinding force were also analyzed.(4)Significance of influence of machining parameters on surface roughness during microgrinding of high entropy alloys is verified by orthogonal experiment and grinding parameters are optimized and analyzed.The influence of machining parameters,grain size,coolant,coating and element content on the grinding surface quality was researched by single factor experiment.According to the measured surface morphology of micro-abrasive,it is reconstructed with MATLAB and the grinding surface morphology is simulated,which is in good agreement with the experimental results.In addition,the wear form of high-entropic alloy grinding with microgrinder and the influence of grain size and coating on the wear of micro-grinder are analyzed,and the service life of micro-grinder is evaluated.
