| A good ecological environment is considered the most inclusive welfare for people’s livelihoods.Mountain areas are not only important ecological functional areas, but also key areas of concern for social and economic development. Therefore, further promotion of economic growth and ecological civilization construction can be achieved by protecting the ecological environment in mountainous areas and improving the well-being of local residents.A comprehensive study of the relationship between ecosystem services and residents’ well-being can enrich and expand the relevant theoretical achievements in the field of ecosystem services and residents’ well-being,and provide reference for other similar mountainous areas to achieve ecological sustainable development and improve residents’ well-being.This article uses In VEST model and ecosystem service value evaluation model to quantify the value and supply and demand of ecosystem services in the research area and each county;Construct a welfare evaluation index system from four dimensions:material, economic, health and safety, and social culture, explore the spatial distribution characteristics of residents’ welfare in the research area, and compare the differences in welfare among counties;Using the Pearson correlation coefficient method to analyze the correlation between the supply and demand of ecosystem services and the well-being of residents; The ecological well-being coordination index was used to study the spatial relationship between ecosystem services and residents’ well-being,and based on the results,it was divided into three modes:high service low welfare mode(N<0.5),service welfare balance mode(0.5<N<2.5),and low service high welfare mode(N>2.5).The main conclusions are as follows:(1)From 2005 to 2020,the value of ecosystem services in the study area showed a trend of first decline and then increase, with a decrease of 0.96%.The value of ecosystem services in the county is the highest in Fuping County, followed by Laiyuan County and the smallest in Mancheng District.Among the primary service function values of ecosystem, regulation service contributes the most, while the function values of supply, regulation and support services are reduced to varying degrees, while the function values of secondary services are reduced to varying degrees except water supply and hydrological function values. From 2005 to 2020,the grain supply and demand in the study area showed an upward trend, with the increase rates of 24.14%and 10.34%respectively.The supply and demand of water production services are generally on the rise; The carbon supply decreased first and then increased, and the carbon emissions increased, all of which showed a distribution pattern of "high in the northwest and low in the southeast";The supply-demand ratio of grain supply service shows a trend of continuous increase, and the supply-demand ratio of water production service and the supply-demand ratio of carbon fixation service both show a trend of rising first and then falling, and the spatial distribution is "high in the northwest and low in the southeast".(2)Among the satisfaction of various indicators of residents’ well-being,the satisfaction of traffic conditions is the lowest, with an average of less than 2;Residents’income,social medical security, food and drinking water safety, ecological environment and natural safety are low in satisfaction, with an average of 2~3;The dispersion degree of satisfaction with material acquisition, living conditions, physical health, ecological environment and natural safety is small, and the median is 3;The concentration trend of social security satisfaction is 4;The average satisfaction of mental health, social interpersonal relationship and cultural tourism development is between 3 and 4.(3)(4)In 2020,the comprehensive well-being level of the study area has a strong correlation with the supply of water production services and carbon fixation services, and the ratio of supply and demand of water production services has a positive correlation with the comprehensive well-being,while the correlation between the supply of food supply services and the comprehensive well-being level of the study area is weak; The counties with high service and low well-being model are mainly distributed in the west and south of the study area, the counties with balanced service and well-being model are mainly distributed in the northeast, and a small part are located in the central region, while the counties with low service and high well-being model are mainly distributed in the north and west. This study has certain reference value for further clarifying the relationship between ecosystem services and residents’ well-being in the study area, which is conducive to broadening the perspective of the relationship between the two,and also provides methodological references for improving the well-being of residents in the study area. |
