| A clean and low-carbon energy transition is an urgent requirement for the sustainable development of the national economy and an effective response to global climate change.At the 75 th session of the United Nations General Assembly,Gener al Secretary Xi committed to the international community to “achieve peak carbon and carbon neutrality”,which has pointed the way for China’s energy development and opened up a new path for energy development with Chinese characteristics.The State Grid Corporation(SGC)has formulated and released the action plan of “Carbon Summit,Carbon Neutral” to speed up the upgrading of the power grid.Meanwhile,the SGC has further requested its subsidiaries to expand the breadth and depth of electric energy substitution and proposed to implement and promote the society to complete the substitution of 500 billion k Wh.W Power Company(hereafter,W company)is a subsidiary of the SGC.This thesis analyzes the energy structure and situation of the “double carbon” target in the context of“carbon neutrality” in China and deeply elaborates the “double carbon” strategy and action plan of W Company under the leadership of SGC.First,it analyzed the external and internal environment of W Company,especially the policies,economy,and advanced technologies used by the company such as “big cloud,material,mobile and intelligent chain”.On the basis of the requirement that the power supply and power system building need to adapt to a high proportion of renewable energy and high-speed development of power grid,this thesis further proposed possible approaches for W company to achieve its goals,such as to increase the share of non-fossil energy through electricity substitution or integrated energy services,and to push coal consumption to peek as soon as possible.The thesis points to the urgency of the transformation of traditional power industry,which highlights the necessity for W company to upgrade the grid intelligence and interaction,increase resource allocation,and build the value-creation capabilities,so as to build a smart,green,and safe power system. |
