| As the main heat exchange equipment in oil refining and chemical enterprises,heat exchanger is of great significance to improve the level of heat utilization and economic benefits.With the deterioration of oil products and the complexity of working conditions,the problem of heat exchanger failure has become increasingly prominent.In order to deal with the economic losses caused by heat exchanger failure,Shanghai Materials Research Institute and Jiangsu Xingcheng Group Co.,Ltd.jointly researched and developed the special steel 08Cr2 AlMo resistant to hydrogen sulfide corrosion for the manufacture of heat exchanger tube bundles.As the 08Cr2 AlMo steel has been used in the heat exchanger as a tube bundle for a short time with a relatively low utilization rate,the research on 08Cr2 AlMo steel is not deep enough.In this paper,the cause of failure is analyzed through a petrochemical 08Cr2 AlMo tube bundle perforation failure case.At the same time,it is judged whether the 08Cr2 AlMo tube bundle used in this part is reasonable according to the operation of the heat exchanger in one maintenance cycle.In order to find out the failure reason of 08Cr2 AlMo material tube bundle perforation,firstly,the pressure test records and material quality certificate documents in the factory random data of the equipment were consulted,and the leakage caused by the manufacturer ’s manufacturing defects was excluded.Device is not put into production does not exist due to temperature,pressure fluctuations and other improper operation of the heat exchanger failure.In order to verify whether the leakage is caused by material or corrosion problems,the heat exchange tube at the failure perforation site is sent to the special inspection for macroscopic morphology,material tensile test,element composition,material metallographic structure,attachment product ion analysis and other physical and chemical analysis.The results show that the performance of the sample meets the performance requirements of 08Cr2 AlMo,and there is no problem with the material used in the heat exchanger.From the macroscopic morphology of the sample and the analysis results of the attachment product ions,it can be seen that the corrosion ions lead to the corrosion perforation of the heat exchange tube.Through the use of process simulation software to judge the scaling,overhaul corrosion inspection and eddy current scanning of the 08Cr2 AlMo heat exchanger after one cycle of operation,it can be seen that although all 08Cr2 AlMo heat exchanger tube bundles have different degrees of corrosion in the first operation cycle,the corrosion is not serious,and they can still be used.It shows that 08Cr2 ALMo material is suitable for heat exchange equipment of atmospheric and vacuum distillation unit in petroleum refining,It is reasonable to select 08Cr2 ALMo as the material of heat exchanger tube bundle. |
