The promotion and popularization of ice and snow sports have driven the rapid development of ice and snow equipment,and related sports auxiliary equipment needs to be repaired after use to maintain its long-term normal use.Speed skating is a high-speed sport that requires high-quality ice skates,and regular maintenance and repair of speed skating blades are necessary.The traditional repair method for ice skates is manual grinding,which has problems such as low efficiency and poor consistency,making it difficult to meet the needs of promoting speed skating.Therefore,a special CNC machine tool technology for repairing speed skating blades was developed to meet requirements such as miniaturization,high precision,automation,and adaptability.The research content is mainly as follows:(1)The overall design of a small-scale CNC machine tool for repairing speed skating blades was carried out,including the overall structure of the machine tool,manual pressure plate-type blade clamps,electrical control system,and sensor measurement module.The laser displacement sensor measures the blade’s shape and sends the measurement data to the numerical control system,which controls the movement of the grinding wheel.(2)Research on the measurement and processing of blade profile data was carried out.Firstly,the measurement methods were compared and analyzed,and the horizontal measurement method was found to provide the best blade point cloud data measurement.Secondly,noise points were removed and the blade contour point cloud data were obtained through edge point extraction using the K-d tree algorithm to eliminate errors caused by machine tool vibration and lighting during the measurement process.Finally,the point cloud data was fitted with a fifth-order sine function Sum of Sine to generate the blade edge contour curve.(3)The optimization of ice skate grinding process was carried out: firstly,the minimum grinding amount optimization was proposed.When the contour of the sample ice skate is close to the actual ice skate blade contour curve and there are two tangent points inside and outside the contour,the distance between the two tangent points of the sample ice skate is the minimum grinding amount for grinding;Then,orthogonal experiments were conducted to optimize the ice skate grinding process,and the PSO-BP neural network was used to predict the optimal process parameters of the ice skate process and conduct experimental verification;Finally,a grinding process experiment was conducted,and after optimizing the process parameters,the quality of ice skate contour grinding was significantly improved.(4)Development of a numerical control system for blade repair was carried out.Based on the Qt platform,a blade grinding numerical control system was developed,which includes a measurement head control module,data acquisition module,contour curve fitting module,processing trajectory code automatic generation module,and process card programming module.Special numerical control system testing was carried out,and the integration of software and hardware was achieved,completing comprehensive testing of blade grinding and repair.The test results show that the special CNC machine tool for repairing speed skating blades achieves high-precision measurement and automatic grinding of blades,meeting the requirements of efficient and precise repair.
