| Cotton fiber is a kind of natural cellulose fiber which is green and environmentally friendly.Pure cotton textiles have excellent moisture absorption and air permeability,soft hand feel and good warmth retention,and are popular clothing fabrics by consumers.However,the loose and porous structure of cotton fiber makes it very easy to absorb various microorganisms,then it is easy to become a habitat for bacteria or fungi,which poses a certain threat to human health.In this subject,copper ion antibacterial blended cotton yarn with antibacterial function was prepared by blending the antibacterial cotton fiber containing Cu2+with ordinary raw cotton fiber,and its basic properties were explored,which has reference significance for industrial production.In addition,this paper explores the antibacterial persistence of blended yarns after dyeing and washing,which provides a reference value for the further application and development of products.First,use HVI large-capacity cotton fiber tester,SEM,FTIR,XPS to test the properties of raw cotton fiber and antibacterial cotton fiber to determine the existence and form of Cu2+,and compare the differences between the two fibers.Select appropriate process parameters to spin two kinds of fibers to prepare yarns with different blending ratios,and conduct strength and elongation tests,evenness tests,and hairiness tests on the blended yarns.The research shows that:compared with the original cotton fiber,the surface morphology of the antibacterial cotton fiber has the characteristics of the mercerized cotton fiber,and the natural curl of the fiber is reduced.The hydroxyl groups of cellulose molecules combine with copper ions in the form of Cu(OH)2 to form a complex reaction.The mechanical properties decreased slightly,and the fineness of the fibers decreased.As the content of antibacterial cotton increases,the strength of the blended yarn decreases,the elongation at break increases,the coefficient of variation of evenness first increases and then decreases,and the hairiness index increases.It can be considered that the lower the proportion of antibacterial cotton in the blended yarn,the better the comprehensive performance evaluation of the yarn.Then,two schemes of"first blending and then dyeing"and"color cotton blending"were designed to prepare three primary color blended yarns,and their shading properties were studied.The results show:Cu2+has a positive effect on the dyeing rate and color fixation rate of the blended yarn,and has a negative effect on the color light.When the content of antibacterial cotton is 10%and 20%for the yellow yarn,the color difference of the latter scheme is smaller,and the color difference is smaller when the content of the yellow yarn is 30%.When the color difference is smaller,the former scheme is selected;the former scheme is better for red yarn;the latter scheme is better for blue yarn.Finally,qualitative and quantitative methods were used to study the antibacterial properties of blended yarns,and the effects of washing and dyeing on the antibacterial properties of yarns were explored.The results showed:the antibacterial rate of unwashed and undyed blended yarns was 100%.After 10 times of washing,blended yarns with 10%to 20%antimicrobial cotton content were affected.After 50 times of washing,the antibacterial rate of the blended yarn with an antibacterial cotton content of 10%-40%decreased.Dyeing had no obvious effect on the antibacterial rate.The antibacterial activity of the blended yarn against Escherichia coli was slightly better than that of Staphylococcus aureus. |
