Etiquette is an important carrier of human civilization,while clothing is a pattern of manifestation of the degree of human civilization and customs and people’s condition,the two parts not only connect life and death,but also integrate life and accumulate a strong cultural heritage.bout etiquette,the complete life of mankind begins with the birth from the mother.With the birth ceremony people come to this world.Going through puberty rite,wedding,birthday,etc.,finally ending in the funeral.These life rituals are closely related to our life course;Regarding clothing,when in birth,we have swaddling clothes,when in wedding,we have wedding clothes,when in death,we have burial clothes,each and every clothing occupies a vital position in respective etiquette culture.There will always be a death when alive.How to make life continue,or how to reflect the continuity of life in traditional clothing,it has become a question worth us to think about.Chinese traditional clothing has influenced all eastern countries and even the whole world with its long history,rich cultural connotation and unique clothing customs.mong the many kinds of clothing,the clothing worn by the world is fragmented,while the burial clothing retains many customs from ancient times to the present,and some elements are still applicable to modern clothing design.What are the connection and commonness among the swaddling clothes that people first come to the world,the wedding clothes that couples will marry and the burial clothes that people will bid farewell to the world? Combined with the principle of Marxist dialectics,raising up the author’s thinking,so this topic studies the culture commonness of traditional swaddling clothing,wedding clothing and burial clothing.Through the collation and analysis of a large number of literature and image data,this paper contrastively summarizes the commonality of clothing shape,color,fabric,decoration,accessories and other aspects of the three by combining with the chart.From the perspective of cultural inheritance meaning,symbol,etiquette and belief,the paper analyzes the reasons for these commonalities.Finally,through the design and reconstruction of the three-types of clothing culture commonality,we can achieve the purpose of inheriting the humanistic spirit contained in traditional clothing and deepening the connotation of traditional clothing culture.
