With the development of fluidized catalytic cracking technology,semi-synthetic FCC catalysts with zeolite as the active component,kaolin as the matrix,and pseudo-boehmite and aluminosol as the binder have become the main catalysts in petrochemical industry.Pseudo-boehmite and kaolin account for a large proportion in the components of FCC catalyst.One of the important functions of the two is to provide sufficient attrition resistance for the catalyst.In industrial production,the attrition index of FCC catalysts prepared by different kinds of pseudo-boehmite and kaolin fluctuates greatly.In view of the above problems,FCC catalysts were prepared from different kinds of pseudo-boehmite and kaolin,and the effects of the properties of different kinds of pseudo-boehmite and kaolin on the performance of FCC catalysts were investigated.The research includes:(1)Influence of the peptizing properties of the pseudo-boehmite on the attrition index of FCC catalyst.FCC catalysts were prepared from pseudo-boehmite with different peptizing properties,and the attrition index of different catalyst samples were analyzed.The results show that the peptizing property of the pseudo-boehmite is an important factor affecting the attrition index of FCC catalyst.The better the peptizing property,the easier it is to prepare FCC catalyst with smaller attrition index under the condition of lower aluminum acid conditions.(2)The key factors affecting the peptizing properties of the pseudo-boehmite.The influence of various properties of pseudo-boehmite samples on their peptizing index were analyzed.The results show that the higher the crystallinity is,the better the peptizing properties of pseudo-boehmite is,and the active Al-OH easily lost between 105 ~ 130 ℃ plays a key role in its peptizing.(3)Effects of kaolin properties on attrition index of FCC catalyst.Representative kaolin samples were selected to prepare FCC catalyst,and the correlation between the attrition index difference of different catalyst samples and the properties of kaolin was analyzed.The results show that the smaller the particle size of kaolin is,the smaller the attrition index of catalyst is.(4)Effect of kaolin particle size with different morphology on wear index of FCC catalyst.Kaolin with large particle size difference under different morphology conditions were selected to analyze the effect of particle size on catalyst attrition index.The results show that because the particle morphology of kaolin is mostly rod and sheet,there is a certain difference between the particle size and the real size by laser particle size analyzer.Therefore,combined with SEM,it is found that the smaller the real particle size of kaolin,the smaller the attrition index of catalyst.
