The Inheritance And Innovation Of Rattan Woven Household Products Under The Traditional Creation Thought

The traditional Chinese thought of creation cannot be separated from the wisdom,practical experience,and contemplation of countless laboring people’s creation activities.The ancients summarized and sublimated these reflections and displayed them through the way of creation.As a traditional craft,rattan weaving has been closely related to the development history of Chinese civilization to this day,and the guiding and supporting role of creation ideas in rattan weaving products is one of the important factors that have stood firm in the historical trend.At present,although the rattan home product industry retains exquisite production techniques and experienced inheritors,it has lost its original vitality in innovation,and there are problems such as unclear design positioning and insufficient competitiveness.In order to inherit the process of rattan weaving,this paper studies the innovative application of traditional rattan weaving modeling in the design of home products based on traditional creation ideas.Firstly,starting from the relationship between man and nature,society and artifacts,this paper analyzes the traditional creation thought,summarizes and refines the traditional creation concept in combination with the creation texts,and explores the internal elements and external performance requirements of the traditional creation thought in the artifact.Secondly,through field research on the development status of rattan weaving handicrafts and rattan weaving household products,the historical evolution,craftsmanship and artistic characteristics of rattan weaving were studied.Finally,under the guidance of traditional creation ideas,the principles and innovation trends of rattan weaving household products are proposed,and they are applied to the design practice of modern home products.The development of rattan weaving cannot be separated from innovation.By combining with traditional creation ideas,it promotes the inheritance of traditional craftsmanship and the continuation of cultural connotations,while providing inspiration and reference for other similar research.
