The costume is often the forerunner sign of opening national culture,it is particularly obvious that the Tang Dynasty of our country appears.In Tang Dynasty,as a "she" era,women’s attitude towards life was positive and open.This paper takes the phenomenon of women wearing men’s clothes in Tang Dynasty as the axis,and relies on such hand-down objects as the tomb murals,terracotta figures and paintings in Tang Dynasty to deeply explore the shape and form of women wearing men’s clothes and the source of the round neck robe in Tang Dynasty.Combing the appearance of women wearing men’s clothing in different periods,as well as the relationship between the Tang society and "Hu Ren" and "Hu Fu",defines the concept of the similarities and differences between women wearing men’s clothing in the Tang Dynasty and women wearing men’s clothing in other periods.By analyzing the source and details of its costume image,the overall costume image changes in the early Tang Dynasty and the prosperous Tang Dynasty defined women wearing men’s clothing as women wearing men’s clothing,which was the germination of a gender-neutral costume style in Chinese feudal society.This paper will combine the interdisciplinary study of clothing psychology,sociology and history,try to find the motivation of women wearing men’s clothing in the Tang Dynasty and the size of the crowd wearing it,further elaborate and summarize the internal relationship between clothing culture and social civilization and progress,and conduct an in-depth analysis of the cultural connotation behind the phenomenon of women wearing men’s clothing style.Promote the further perfection of women wear men’s clothing theory.
