Research On Occupational Safety And Health Problems Of Migrant Workers In The New Era

Over the past 40 years of reform and opening up,migrant workers have made significant contributions to China’s economic and social development and socialist modernization,and are an important force in China’s social construction and economic development.According to the "2021 Migrant Worker Monitoring and Survey Report",the total number of migrant workers in the country in 2021 was292.51 million,an increase of 6.91 million over the previous year,an increase of 2.4%,which fully shows the huge group of migrant workers.However,at the same time,migrant workers have also been challenged in terms of occupational safety and health,the main problems are still frequent Ansheng production accidents,the number of occupational diseases and diseases,mental health problems cannot be ignored,and the phenomenon of overwork is more obvious.This not only caused the loss of the health rights and interests of migrant workers,but also was not conducive to the construction and development of harmonious labor relations with Chinese characteristics.Therefore,the analysis of the occupational safety and health problems of migrant workers in the new era is of great significance to protect the health rights and interests of migrant workers,promote the construction of harmonious labor relations and sustainable and healthy economic development.Using case analysis,inductive analysis,data analysis and other research methods,this paper analyzes the problems faced by migrant workers in occupational safety and health in the new era and the causes of problems faced by migrant workers in the new era based on the basic overview of occupational safety and health problems of migrant workers in the new era,and the classic Marxist exposition on safeguarding the health rights and interests of the working class and the Sino-Marxist exposition on occupational safety and health problems of workers since the founding of New China as the theoretical basis.On this basis,countermeasures to improve the occupational safety and health of migrant workers were proposed.This article discusses the following five aspects:Chapter 1: Introduction.It mainly introduces the research background and significance of this paper,the research status at home and abroad,research ideas and methods,and the innovation and shortcomings of this paper.Chapter 2: An overview of the basic theories of occupational safety and health problems of workers.Migrant workers and the concepts of occupational safety and health were briefly introduced.On the basis of analyzing the literature on occupational safety and health of workers,this paper systematically sorts out the classic Marxist expositions on safeguarding the health rights and interests of the working class and the Chinese-style Marxist expositions on the occupational safety and health problems of workers since the founding of New China.Chapter 3: Basic Overview of Occupational Safety and Health of Migrant Workers in the New Era.It briefly introduced the achievements made by the Party and the government in safeguarding the occupational safety and health of migrant workers since the new era,and then expounded the problems existing in the occupational safety and health of migrant workers in the new era,including the frequent occurrence of Ansheng production accidents,the large number and variety of occupational diseases,mental health problems that cannot be ignored,and the phenomenon of overwork.Chapter 4: Analysis of the causes of occupational safety and health problems of migrant workers in the new era.In view of the current problems of migrant workers in occupational safety and health,the causes of the problems were analyzed separately.The main reason is that the strength of safety production governance and the awareness of responsibility need to be improved,the protection of migrant workers’ occupational health rights and interests still needs to be improved,the social support received by migrant workers is still relatively weak,and the migrant workers fall into the predicament of excessive labor.Chapter 5: Countermeasures and suggestions for improving the occupational safety and health of migrant workers in the new era.This chapter studies and solves the problems and causes of occupational safety and health of migrant workers in the new era.This includes that all entities should increase their attention to safe production work,strengthen the protection of migrant workers’ occupational health rights and interests,increase the social support of migrant workers through multiple channels,and all entities should work together to ensure the reasonable working hours of migrant workers.In the context of the new era,the occupational safety and health problems of migrant workers cannot be ignored.In order to effectively improve this problem,protect the occupational safety and health rights and interests of migrant workers,and build harmonious labor relations with Chinese characteristics,it is necessary to clarify the causes of occupational safety and health problems of migrant workers,and actively explore countermeasures and suggestions to improve this problem.The analysis of this issue has important theoretical and practical significance for improving the current situation of occupational safety and health of migrant workers,improving the policies and systems of the Party and government to safeguard the occupational safety and health rights and interests of workers in the new era,and the construction of harmonious labor relations with Chinese characteristics.The innovation of this paper is mainly reflected in the following two aspects:On the one hand,this article summarizes the achievements of the Party and government in maintaining the occupational safety and health of migrant workers in the new era.At present,the research on the occupational safety and health of migrant workers is mainly carried out from the problems,causes and countermeasures,while there are few studies on the achievements of the Party and the government in maintaining the occupational safety and health of migrant workers since the new era.Therefore,this paper enriches the research content of occupational safety and health of migrant workers,and sorts out the achievements made by the Party and the government in maintaining the occupational safety and health of migrant workers since the new era.On the other hand,this paper puts forward countermeasures and suggestions to improve the occupational safety and health of migrant workers in the new era,that is,the government,enterprises,trade unions,and migrant workers themselves work together to ensure the occupational safety and health of migrant workers.At present,the academic research on countermeasures to improve the occupational safety and health of migrant workers focuses on improving laws and regulations,improving the social security system,and strengthening government supervision,which is relatively general.Starting from the four aspects of production safety,occupational diseases,mental health and overwork,this paper considers countermeasures from the government,enterprises,trade unions and migrant workers themselves,and explores new schemes for pluralistic and coordinated governance,which is more specific and comprehensive,which is of great significance for solving practical problems and promoting the construction of harmonious labor relations with Chinese characteristics.
