Research On The Impact Of Ecological Environment Governance Level On Regional Economic Growth

Since reforming and opening up,our economic level has improved rapidly,but at the same time also brought huge environmental burden.In fact,the realization of economic growth will inevitably lead to some ecological environmental pollution problems,and the ecological environmental pollution problems to be solved need to pay a certain price.So,compared with the economic benefits it brings,will the price that ecological environment governance needs to pay hinder the growth of our economy,or play a role in promoting our national economy? In fact,as long as we take reasonable and effective measures to control the ecological environment,we can not only improve the quality of the environment,but also reduce the impact on economic growth,and even promote economic growth.In solving the problem of ecological environment pollution,therefore,to understand the ecological environment governance and how the relationship between economic growth,explore in ecological environmental governance will be what kind of impact on the economy,on the basis of reasonable management measures,to improve ecological environmental quality and the ability to maintain or promote the growth of the economy,to solve the problem of ecological environment pollution in our country,It is of great significance to realize economic development and its coordinated development.Based on this,this paper reviews the relevant theories of ecological environmental governance and economic growth on the basis of the research of domestic and foreign scholars on ecological environmental governance and economic growth.Then the paper analyses the status quo of environmental pollution and ecological environment management from three aspects: water resources pollution,air pollution and solid waste pollution.Then,from four aspects of ecological construction,resource utilization,pollution control,green life,the ecological environment governance evaluation index system was constructed,and the entropy method was used to assign weights to each index,and the comprehensive score of ecological environment governance level in Chinese provinces and cities was calculated.Empirically,this paper selected relevant panel data of 30 provinces and cities(except Tibet)from 2011 to 2020.Firstly,the spatial durbin model was constructed to analyze the overall effect and spatial spillover effect of ecological environment governance level on regional economic growth.By replacing different weights to test the robustness of models,the empirical results are proved to be robust.Then,a threshold effect model with the level of scientific and technological innovation as the threshold variable is constructed to analyze the influence of the level of ecological environment governance on economic growth at different threshold values,and then feasible countermeasures and suggestions are proposed according to the research conclusions.The main research conclusions are as follows:(1)From the present situation of ecological pollution in our country,although some measures have been taken to control it,for now,environmental pollution form is still severe in various regions,and need to step up control.(2)From the comprehensive evaluation results,the ecological construction level has the biggest impact on the ecological environment governance level,followed by green living level,the proportion of resource utilization efficiency,and the proportion of pollution control.Eco-environment governance level has been rising steadily in recent ten years,but the development of ecological environmental governance capacity is not balanced among regions.The governance level of Yunnan Province is the highest,while that of Qinghai Province is the lowest.(3)From the perspective of regional economic growth level,ecological environment governance level,the core explanatory variable studied in this paper,has a significant positive impact on it.In addition,according to the regression results of threshold effect,when the level of scientific and technological innovation is at different threshold values,the level of ecological environment governance has a significant positive impact on the level of regional economic growth,and with the improvement of the level of scientific and technological innovation,the promoting effect of ecological environment governance on the level of regional economic growth will also be increased.
