| Electromyography(EMG)is an important pathological information of muscle-nerve diseases,and its daily long-term monitoring is crucial for its application.Fabric dry electrode can be used for EMG monitoring without trauma,allergy,health and comfort,and is an important component for the preparation of long-term EMG monitoring.In order to perform daily longterm EMG monitoring,the fabric dry electrode needs to have excellent adhesive performance,machine washable resistance and sweat corrosion resistance,so as to ensure the quality of EMG in daily long-term EMG monitoring.Although the existing fabric dry electrodes are constantly improved,their soft adhesion,machine washable resistance and sweat corrosion resistance still cannot meet the needs of daily long-term EMG monitoring.In response to the problem of poor adhesion of commonly used EMG monitoring fabric dry electrodes,this project develops a sponge/silver plated fabric composite dry electrode for EMG monitoring.The structure and preparation method of the sponge/silver plated fabric composite dry electrode for soft adhesion are studied,and their electrical and EMG performance are evaluated to explore the feasibility of their application in daily EMG monitoring.At the same time,in response to the issue of poor durability of EMG monitoring fabric dry electrodes,this study evaluates and compares the durability of different sponge/silver plated fabric composite dry electrodes,selects composite fabric dry electrodes suitable for daily long-term EMG monitoring,and analyzes the reasons that affect their durability.The specific research content and conclusions are as follows.(1)Preparation and electrical performance evaluation of sponge/silver plated fabric composite dry electrodeIn order to improve the adhesion performance of fabric dry electrodes during EMG monitoring,three types of electrode conductive fabrics were selected in this study,and a soft and good adhesion sponge/silver plated fabric dry electrode was prepared by laminating the sponge with three types of silver plated knitted electrode fabrics using a hot pressing process.In order to investigate the electrical performance of three types of sponge/silver plated fabric composite dry electrodes,this study evaluates the electrical performance of three types of sponge/silver plated fabric composite dry electrodes in terms of square resistance,AC impedance,and skin electrode contact impedance.The results show that the electrical performance of the thick and flat fabric composite dry electrode made of sponge/silver-plated line-warp fabric is superior to the other two types of sponge/silver plated fabric composite dry electrodes.(2)Evaluation of dynamic EMG monitoring applicability of sponge/silver plated fabric composite dry electrodeIn order to explore whether three types of sponge/silver plated fabric composite dry electrodes can be used for daily dynamic EMG monitoring,this study evaluates the performance of three types of sponge/silver plated fabric composite dry electrodes in three aspects: traditional electrode EMG monitoring performance comparison,different muscle strength EMG monitoring,and muscle fatigue EMG monitoring through a hammer 90° bending movement.The results show that the EMG monitoring performance of three types of sponge/silver plated fabric composite dry electrodes is comparable to that of traditional electrodes;And they can accurately monitor and identify the differences in EMG signals generated by different muscle strengths and muscle fatigue,so all three types of sponge/silver plated fabric composite dry electrodes can be used for daily dynamic EMG monitoring.(3)Durability evaluation of sponge/silver plated fabric composite dry electrodeIn order to explore whether three types of sponge/silver plated fabric composite dry electrodes can be used for daily long-term EMG monitoring,this study conducts machine washing and sweat corrosion tests on three types of sponge/silver plated fabric composite dry electrodes,and evaluated their electrical and EMG properties.the results show that after 100 machine washes and 22 hours of sweat corrosion,the electrical performance and EMG monitoring performance of the three sponge/silver plated fabric composite dry electrodes deteriorated.However,they can still perform different muscle strength and muscle fatigue EMG monitoring,indicating that the three can be used for daily long-term EMG monitoring.In the overall durability evaluation,the electrical and EMG properties of the sponge/silver-plated linewarp fabric composite dry electrode are superior to the other two types of sponge/silver plated fabric composite dry electrodes,making it excellent in durability and suitable for daily long-term EMG monitoring.In summary,this study prepares a composite fabric dry electrode with good adhesion and durability suitable for dynamic EMG monitoring using sponge/silver plated fabric lamination composite method.The role of conductive fabric structure and post-treatment in improving adhesion and durability was preliminarily confirmed.In addition,the sponge/silver-plated linewarp fabric composite dry electrode,which is soft and comfortable and has excellent performance,also provides a choice for long-term daily monitoring of other body surface bioelectrical signals. |
