| As an important way of ecological civilization construction in our country,green development can effectively solve the contradiction between economic development and ecological environment.Metropolitan area is an important part of optimizing the overall framework of urban agglomerations,which plays a key role in connecting the preceding and the following in the urbanization pattern of our country.Xining metropolitan area is a high-value area of economic development in Qinghai province and even the Tibetan Plateau.Promoting the green development of Xining metropolitan area can effectively promote the green process of Qinghai province and even the Tibetan Plateau.In this study,the Green Development Efficiency Index System of Xining metropolitan area is constructed and calculated from four dimensions: green environment,green production,green life and Green policy,the spatial-temporal characteristics of green development efficiency in Xining metropolitan area are studied by standard deviation ellipse analysis,and the coupling coordination degree model is used to analyze the green development efficiency.Secondly,in order to evaluate the green development efficiency of Xining metropolitan area more comprehensively,the green development efficiency is measured from the perspective of industrial structure based on industry,agriculture and service industries respectively.Finally,the main controlling factors of the differences in the efficiency of various dimensions of green development in the Xining metropolitan area are detected by using geographical detectors,the spatial-temporal weighted regression model is used to analyze the main controlling factors of the spatial-temporal differentiation of industrial green development efficiency,agricultural green development efficiency and service green development efficiency.The conclusions are as follows:(1)The green development efficiency of Xining metropolitan area shows the trend of increasing year by year and the spatial differentiation characteristic is obvious,the spatial distribution of high-level area and high-level area gradually overlaps with that of economic,population and industry in metropolitan area.Through the analysis of the efficiency change of every dimension of the evaluation index system of green development efficiency,it is found that the counties and districts with remarkable improvement of green development efficiency are all driven by ‘Environment,production,policy’.From 2016 to 2020,the focus of green development efficiency in the Xining metropolitan area was concentrated in Ping An,and the overall migration was relatively stable.The coverage of the standard deviation ellipse gradually moved to the northwest,this is mainly because Cheng Xi,Da Tong and Hu Zhu have seen significant improvements in their green development efficiency.In terms of coupling and co-ordination,the green development efficiency coupling and co-ordination in Xining metropolitan area is still at an early stage of co-ordination.There is a phenomenon that the higher the efficiency of green development efficiency,the better the coupling and coordination among the counties and districts in Xining metropolitan area.In the aspect of influencing factors,the system of influencing factors is constructed according to the logic of economy,society,technology,government investment and natural environment,and the main controlling factors of green development efficiency in Xining metropolitan area are explored.The efficiency of the two dimensions of green production and green life is mainly influenced by the economic and social aspects.The change of green environmental efficiency is related to the natural background and the protection of the environment by technology,therefore,it is mainly affected by the technological,social and natural conditions,while Green policy is mainly influenced by the government investment and economic conditions based on its policy security.(2)The efficiency of green industrial development in Xining metropolitan area has shown a fluctuating upward trend,with spatial differentiation showing a two-tier phenomenon.High-level areas and higher-level areas are mostly located in key industrial development counties in the metropolitan area,the efficiency of green industrial development in the districts under the jurisdiction of Xining has increased significantly.From 2016 to 2020,the green development efficiency of the Xining metropolitan area tended to be polarized in the southeast-northwest direction,with the center of gravity concentrated in Ping An,and gradually shifted to the northwest,the main reason was that the efficiency of green industrial development in Huang Zhong,Huang Yuan and Da Tong,which are located in the western and northwestern part of Xining metropolitan area,were significantly increased during the study period.The level of economic development,the level of industrialization,the level of scientific and technological innovation,and the level of environmental regulation all play positive roles in promoting the efficiency of green industrial development in Xining metropolitan area,however,the urbanization level has a negative effect on the efficiency of green industrial development in Xining metropolitan area,and the inhibiting effect is strengthened.(3)The efficiency of agricultural green development in Xining metropolitan area has been steadily increasing and the spatial differentiation has been shown.The high-level areas and higher-level areas are mostly located in the regions with better agricultural development foundation in Xining metropolitan area.From 2016 to 2020,the efficiency of agricultural green development of the Xining metropolitan area gradually increased in the southeast-northwest direction,with the center of gravity concentrated in Ping An.The overall deviation was large,and gradually shifted to the north-west direction,the main reason is that Huang Yuan,Huang Zhong and Da Tong,which are located in the western and northwestern parts of Xining metropolitan area,have improved their efficiency of green agricultural development,and their pull role have been strengthened.Technology investment and population density have a positive effect on the efficiency of green agricultural development in Xining metropolitan area,the impact of the government’s investment in agriculture,forestry and water on the efficiency of green agricultural development in Xining metropolitan area has gradually changed from a negative correlation to a positive correlation,it can be seen that the government’s financial investment in agriculture,forestry and water affairs will not entirely promote the efficiency of agricultural green development.(4)Green development efficiency of the service industry in Xining metropolitan area has improved,but the overall level of efficiency is generally low.Most of the districts in the Xining metropolitan area belong to the low-level Total factor productivity,while the high-value areas are mainly in the core area.The green development efficiency of the service industry in Xining metropolitan area is highly polarized in space and has gradually become more directional,with the focus on the Cheng Zhong and Ping An,as the efficiency of green development of the service industry in Min He increased significantly from 2016 to 2020,the focus gradually shifted from Xining to Min He.This is mainly because Min He relies heavily on agriculture and services to generate income.In recent years,Min He has made great efforts to develop rural tourism and modern services.In 2020,services will account for nearly 50% of the region’s GDP.The economic development level,the quality of labor force and the energy structure have a positive correlation with the green development efficiency of the service industry in Xining metropolitan area,and the quality of labor force is the main influencing factor. |
