The Application Of Korean Costume Elements In Modern Dress Design

Cultural heritage is an irreplaceable resource of China’s fine civilization.To protect,pass on and make good use of cultural heritage is an important part of promoting cultural confidence and self-improvement and creating new glory for socialist culture.Korean ethnic group dress is our intangible cultural heritage,it is the expression of ethnic characteristics.In recent years,"Chinese style" has contributed more and more Chinese schemes to the global design,and the Oriental implication is leading the global fashion.Ethnic costumes are showing strong cultural charm,and the cultural connotation of ethnic costumes is paid more and more attention.With the development of social economy and the improvement of people’s living quality,consumers’ requirements for dress are more and more inclined to personality,fashion,health and comfort.This paper analyzes the unique style artistic features of Korean clothing,as well as the natural concept,life wisdom and aesthetic ideal of Korean people under the unique charm,and puts forward the possibility and feasibility of the application of spiritual and conceptual cultural connotations such as etiquette and customs in the dress design.In this paper,the application principles and methods of Korean costume elements in modern dress design are analyzed,summarized and created in practice by means of literature research and picture analysis,aiming at providing theoretical basis and practical cases for the creative transformation and application of Korean costume elements in modern dress design.The integration of Korean costume elements into the design and research of modern women’s wear highlights the vitality of ethnic culture,integrates the protection and utilization of cultural heritage into modern life organically,and develops in protection and inheritance in development.
