Globally, environmental challenges have become a concern. These challenges include not only greenhouse gases, which cause climate change by trapping heat, leading to smog and respiratory diseases caused by air pollution; It also includes a reduction in the quantity and quality of drinking water supply. On the one hand, the rapid growth of human activities, such as the generation and transportation of energy, the release of greenhouse gases such as carbon dioxide, and the rapid warming of the earth,on the other hand, due to the rapid growth of towns and cities, the demand for freshwater is growing much faster than the population growth rate, bringing great pressure to neighboring water resources. In this paper, inorganic nanoparticles ZIF-8 were first incorporated into sulfonated modified phenolphthaleyl polyaryletherketone(PEK-C),and the ultraporous size of the polymer membrane was adjusted by high-temperature carbonization method, and a gas separation mixed carbon molecular sieve membrane with high permeability and selectivity was prepared while omitting the pre-oxidation step. The composite carbon zeolite membrane was characterized by SEM,FT-IR,TG and XRD techniques.SEM confirmed that the inorganic nanoparticle ZIF-8 is between 40-60 nm in size and uniformly dispersed inside the material. The influence of carbonization temperature on the presence of carbon molecular sieve membrane materials was analyzed by FT-IR and TG,and the gas permeability and selectivity of the membrane were analyzed by gas permeation device:ZIF-8/SPEK-C600composite carbon molecular sieve membrane material had the best performance, and the separation performance of CO2gas reached 3590.49 barrer, and the selectivity of CO2/N2reached 12.Due to the excellent performance of the ZIF-8/SPEK-C600composite carbon molecular sieve membrane in the previous study,we used the co-carbonization method to prepare a series of ZIF-8/SPEK-CX-Ycarbon aerogel materials with different temperatures and different sulfonation degrees to see if they can also be applied well in organic dye removal.Through a series of tests,it is shown that the adsorption removal rate of methylene blue by ZIF-8/SPEK-C0-600can reach 91.35%in 80min at different carbonization temperatures, and the enhancement amplitude is as high as 148.29%compared with SPEK-C0-60.Similarly,with the increase of sulfonation degree,ZIF-8/SPEK-C24-600carbon aerogel material not only has an adsorption removal rate of99.50%of the cationic dye methylene blue within 40min in the mixed dye methylene blue/methyl orange, which is 241.04%higher than that of ZIF-8/SPEK-C0-600,and the adsorption removal rate of the anionic dye methyl orange is only 24.89%,which has excellent selectivity. In summary, the composite carbon molecular sieve membrane and carbon aerogel materials prepared by ZIF-8 and phenolphthaleyl polyaryletherketone(PEK-C)modified by sulfonation have excellent application prospects in the direction of carbon dioxide separation and dye adsorption.
