Differences Between Different Specifications Of RNP AR Flight Procedure Design And Operational Safety Assessment

In recent years,the use of RNP AR(Required Navigation Performance Authorization Required)procedures at airports with restricted terrain and complex airspace environments can greatly reduce operational standards and improve flight accuracy and safety due to its advantages such as small horizontal protection zones and precision-guided landings.Overall,the application of RNP AR can yield a large number of operational advantages with good economic and safety benefits.With the construction of new airports and the modification and expansion of existing airports,higher demands are placed on terminal area flight procedure design and airline operations.As one of the permanent members of ICAO,the current Chinese civil aviation RNP AR procedures only refer to the ICAO design specifications,but in recent years,the ICAO(International Civil Aviation Organization)specifications have been updated to incorporate some elements of the FAA(Federal Aviation However,in recent years,the ICAO(International Civil Aviation Organization)specifications have been updated to incorporate some of the FAA(Federal Aviation Administration)specifications,and the operating standards of the procedures designed according to the two specifications may not be consistent,so the FAA RNP AR specifications also have some learning value.In this thesis,we analyze the design principles of RNP AR procedures based on ICAO and FAA specifications,compare the similarities and differences between the two specifications,design RNP AR procedures based on example airports,and analyze the advantages and disadvantages of flight procedures and safety.FOSA(Flight Operation Safety Assessment)aims to focus on such cases that nominally do not comply with the procedure design specifications but comply with airworthy operation.Considering the practical situation,this thesis performs a safety assessment on the performance aspects of the designed flight procedures to verify whether the RNP AR flight procedures meet their safe operation requirements.
