Nervonic acid has a double bond,it is a long carbon chain unsaturated fatty acid,which helps repair nerve cells and tissues,promotes brain development,and can potentially prevent and treat brain diseases.Nervonic acid methyl ester(NAME),a derivative of nervonic acid,has a more stable structure and is more easily absorbed by the human body.Plant source is an important channel for the extraction of nervonic acid and its derivatives,among which Acer truncatum bunge,widely distributed and adaptable to various environments,has a high oil content in its seeds.Acer truncatum bunge seed oil contains 5-6% nervonic acid,making it an excellent source for nervonic acid extraction.This study used Acer truncatum bunge seeds as raw materials,and subcritical extraction was used to prepare Acer truncatum bunge seed oil,from which NAME with high purity was extracted.The subcritical extraction process was established to prepare the seed oil of Acer truncatum bunge with seed kernel as raw material and butane as extractants.And each optimal operating conditions were searched by singlefactor test method,the extraction rate of Acer truncatum bunge seed oil reached94.50%.And then the study used the method of response surface for further analysis.The process was endothermic and entropic,and the kinetics of washing and diffusion stage conformed to Baümler model.Compared with other preparation methods such as pressing,soxhlet extraction,and ultrasoundassisted extraction,subcritical extraction had a higher extraction rate,and the refining process did not require degumming,decolorization,or deodorization and other subsequent processing technology,which can meet the national standard for Acer truncatum bunge seed oil.The mixed fatty acid methyl ester was prepared from the seed oil of Acer truncatum bunge.Based on the difference of boiling point and relative volatility,a new process of extracting high-purity nervonic acid methyl ester by decompressive distillation was established.The operating conditions of primary and secondary vacuum distillation were optimized,and finally,over 90% pure nervonic acid methyl ester was obtained through four-stage decompressed distillation.Subsequently,further purification was performed using four-stage decompression distillation combined with a low-temperature crystallization process.Eventually,a purity of 97.56% was achieved for nervonic acid methyl ester.Through process simulation,a dual-tower and single-tower continuous distillation process was established,which can achieve a purity of over 99.9%for nervonic acid methyl ester.This can provide technical support and scientific guidance for special applications of high concentrations of nervonic acid methyl ester.
