With the development of the national economic level,the aerospace,microelectro-mechanical,new energy vehicles and other areas of the demand for precision ultra-thin strips is increasing,and its surface quality,dimensional accuracy put forward higher requirements.In the whole process of precision ultrathin strip production,the rolling process is an important processing link,twentyroller mill as the main equipment directly involved in metal deformation,its operating process stability directly affects the ultra-thin strip plate shape and thickness accuracy and surface quality.The vibrations generated during the operation of the mill will not only lead to vibration marks on the surface of the rolled products,wear the rolls,but also produce production problems such as strip breakage and stock piling,affecting the productivity of the rolling process.The factors that cause mill vibration are complex and varied.In order to investigate the stability of the twenty-roller during the rolling process,this paper takes the 280 mm twenty-roller reversible rolling unit,a multifunctional rolling platform for precision ultra-thin strip,as the object of study.The analysis is based on the surface vibrations and strip breakage of ultra-thin strip during the rolling process,considering the complex roll structure of the twenty-roller mill and the inability to effectively install sensors in the roll structure.A digital twin model of the twenty-roller mill is developed,taking into account the influence of the dynamics of the twenty-roller mill and the production process parameters on the digital modelling process.A hardware-in-the-loop digital twin communication system was built to realize the collection and interoperability of equipment operation data and production data during the rolling process,and a real-time datadriven digital twin model of a twenty-roller mill was established;functional modules were designed for the twenty-roller mill rolling process,and a PLCcontrolled virtual commissioning prototype system was developed to facilitate the monitoring of equipment operation status while carrying out virtual commissioning of the rolling process.Based on the current status of industrial digitalization research,this paper establishes a dual-driven digital twin model system for a twenty-roller mill with mechanistic data to virtually monitor the vibration condition of the roll system and the operating status of the equipment,and develops a virtual commissioning system for the twenty-roller mill model,providing a new approach and new ideas to improve the design,analysis,prediction and operation and maintenance of rolling equipment.
