"Wu Jing" Home Office Furniture Design

With the accelerated development of information and network technology,online activities are becoming more frequent.Meanwhile,due to the rapid economic recovery in the post pandemic era,the demand for home office furniture market is increasing.The continuous expansion of urban population has exacerbated the housing shortage.Due to the limitations of housing space,home office workers face the embarrassment of blurry boundaries and mutual interference in their daily life and work.The complex furniture has independent functions and is inconvenient to use,and the space utilization rate and office efficiency are not high.Therefore,the main purpose of the author is to improve the home office environment,clarify the boundaries of the home office space,improve users’ home office efficiency,and enhance happiness.The design theme is "physical environment",and the multi-functional combination furniture for home office is used as the design object for theoretical research and design practice.As the research object,"Wujing" home office combination furniture is a multifunctional combination of furniture that is separated by the interval of screens and closely combined and embedded with various functional office equipment;Link intelligent devices to render the office atmosphere visually,auditory,olfactory,and tactile,creating an immersive and aesthetically pleasing office environment.Users enter the country through physical means and are immersed in their work,thereby improving their work efficiency and enhancing their sense of happiness and achievement in working from home.The main content of this research topic includes four parts: firstly,the organization and analysis of relevant theories.Including the analysis of the concept of physical environment,case studies on the application of physical environment concepts in design,and the combination methods of modular furniture;The second is research and analysis,including a comparative analysis of the common characteristics of home office workers,office furniture and home office furniture,and a survey of the needs of home office workers;Thirdly,exploration of design principles and strategies;The fourth is design practice and design evaluation.We have conducted a comprehensive analysis of this design through design positioning,design performance,and physical sample evaluation.This article conducts research on the design of "Wujing" home office combination furniture,starting from market demand,and provides an independent,movable,and multi-functional combination of home office "places" for home office workers.It solves the problems of living and working environments,visual interference,and unclear boundaries between life and work.We will provide opinions and references for the development and improvement of product technology in the field of home office furniture design.
